Did you have an issue with the many heterosexual couples who were married last night?

I'd be okay with having any type of marriage on stage since that's the only valid comparison to be made.
I disagree. It was a CLEAR agenda push. Or did you think Madonna and Queen just happened to be the singers for it. LOL

The whole thing was dumb, IMO. But those few were in there to make it seem like it was for all. If you think otherwise you are naive.

Kind of like including all colors of people in children's books and such.

Why does inclusion bother you so much?

The sooner that those who oppose marriage for all couples realize that the ship has sailed, the sooner such agendas will cease to be pushed. "What" is no longer seriously in question, just "when".

I don't necessarily agree, and has nothing to do with the topic. Even if "when" is the case, I think it is weak for people to just give up on their beliefs because someone tells them they should.

With that attitude, it's easy to see why our country is such a mess.

You're bothered not by marriages on television but by a certain type of marriage being included and then you seem to have some conspiracy theory that the straight couples were there only for some farce of including everyone. Is it not possible that they were selected in exactly the same way as the other couples?

Your comment about the children's book is another example, why is it a bad thing if authors want to include other races and cultures in their books?

Their opinions are constantly oppressed and degraded. The moral beliefs of this country have been attacked until they become non existent. I'm not a religious person, but to see how quick we have gone away from God and trash the church at every turn makes me want to look into the prophecies a bit. It seems like the world is a shittier place when people aren't fearing repercussions for their actions. I'm not saying their is an after-life, but things seemed to be better when people thought they were. This is just another attack on the church and its taking people farther and farther away from the virtues taught in it.

Not continuing to fight when the war is over is a problem? Another word for it is stupidity.

Give some examples of the oppression and degradation of Christianity. You won't find many that actually fit what you're saying. Not always getting exactly what you want isn't oppression.

And your assertion that the world is a shittier place now than some imagined past is ridiculous. More people are living decent lives now than probably ever before (by decent I mean access to housing, food, education, etc).

Showing some gay people getting married on a television show isn't an attack on anyone.

Because it's forced. It in itself isn't bad. It's all the PC groups that bitch up a storm if a certain group isn't included in everything.

So you think it was coincidence the selection of singers for the wedding? LOL

What the Grammys did was just dumb, imo. Why would you marry people at a music show?? lol
And why would you want to get married at the Grammy's?

You're really complaining about having different colored people in children's books? Seriously?

So much bitching about being "forced" to watch a bunch of people getting married (gay and straight). This upsets you so much watch the fucking Pro Bowl. Unreal what gets some peoples panties in a bunch.

The moral beliefs of this country are being attacked? Really? Who's beliefs? The ones who refuse to live in the 21st century? In case you haven't noticed, not everyone has the same moral beliefs and after reading your asinine posts in here I'm sure as shit happy I don't share your 17th century views.

And at this rate, these award shows threads should just start off in the political forum. There's a reason people avoid that forum like the plague.

The Academy Awards thread should be classic! So many gay movies this year! ( Oops wait, the host is gay. It's an agenda and the downfall of morals in this country!)

Of all the discussion here, and you took away from it that I was complaining about colored people in books. You deserve to be a called a dumbshit.
