It all goes back to you eating Vicks Vapor Rub.

Apple sauce in mashed potatoes? Dear lord man....what are you thinking?

That actually doesn't sound like a bad combo to me.

I mix mashed potatoes with basically whatever is on my plate. That said, I'm putting apple sauce in a bowl by itself lol

Apple sauce in mashed potatoes is certainly not a common combination, but it sounds interesting. Kinda like putting apple slices in a salad with lettuce and walnuts.

I can't think that I have any weird food combinations. Many years ago I did try fixing spaghetti with tuna instead of ground beef. How was it? Let's just say I never tried it again.

The only thing that causes eyebrows to raise nowadays is when I put a pinch of salt in my coffee.

Vicks only goes with sore throat...

Apple sauce is great with spaghetti, mac and cheese. The vinegar style coleslaw my grandma used to make is a must to be mixed with mashed potatoes, gravy and stuffing. Devoured by me every thanksgiving.

I put A1 on my mashed potatoes.

When those Californians give a fancy name to weird combination of mixing fruits and nuts with vegetables, it's all downhill from there! :D J/K

LOL - I'm still not used to the idea of tangerines in my Asian grilled chicken salads. Hey, it's different. ;)
