No, the point was we would assume Oberyn fights on behalf of the Kingdom so he gets to kill a Lannister (double bonus if Jamie would be Tyrion's champion). And we might assume Bronn or perhaps Jamie fights on behalf of Tyrion (we can probably guess it wouldn't or couldn't be Jamie, but ruling out Bronn is again a pretty obscure detail that the tv show doesn't spell out sufficiently).

As far as I can tell, the only hint given that The Mountain is Tywin's champion is a single line from Oberyn that he's "Tywin's enforcer", which doesn't come close to being sufficient knowledge for a guess, not to mention guessing someone we've seen [maybe] once.

More logically we could guess Tywin's champion is any decent sword in the King's Guard, especially since who's going to fight for Tyrion after that speech? Tywin could just pay Bronn off not to fight. There would be no need to dispatch The Mountain to kill a dwarf.

With so many child actors it is going to be difficult to keep them since they are growing older quickly, and already some people seem to be complaining about the filler scenes so I think they are going to have to fast-track the plot or people will get GoT fatigue.
The producers have said they have a seven season plan. Sansa, Brieanne, Pod, Reek are already into book 4/5 territory. (sansa after ep 7) The only kid they may have to recast from here on out is Rickon. While the kid playing Bran is getting taller by leaps and bounds they should be able to work around that. I wouldn't put it past HBO to do a longer seventh season possibly split ala Sopranos or Walking Dead. An eighth season would get crazy expensive due to redone actors contracts.

Sansa is still in book 3. I know some people like Reek/Theon but I find it to be torture porn, and the rest of books 4/5 would be unwatchable. No one is going to care about random quests that go nowhere.

I think we'll see even more of Reek/Theon. Not just because HBO likes a little porn of any form, but because what's-his-name fills that void vacated by Joffrey's death.

I also didn't like how Reek's sister gives that great speech about rescuing her brother, then gives-up without much of a fight. I suppose the shirtless dude that brings a knife to a sword fight is the old adage of the crazy bastard no one wants to mess with.

That part definitely bothered me. I get it, he's going to release the hounds, but what do you have, 10+ guys with axes and swords? You seriously gathered people to go sail around the fucking world (see below for where she has been this season), get to your destination, and leave after approximately 5 minutes? At least take out Ramsey's crazy ass.

I kept thinking that someone was just going to knock him out and drag his ass to the boat but it never happened.

Dialogue that was cut from that scene:
Ramsey: "now, please stand there doing nothing, while I pause dramatically before releasing the hounds."

    or...

Ramsey: "you have us hopelessly outnumbered and outgunned...however, please wait for 10 seconds or so while I open these cages"

    or....

Ramsey: "I hold in my hands a key...a key that will release half a dozen wild dogs trained to attack and kill....now, you're probably wondering right now if this is the right key to open the cages...to tell you the truth, in all the excitement I don't even know if I grabbed the right key...so, do you feel lucky?"

It was bothersome. It's almost as if they had the actress signed up for this season, didn't know what to do with her and just threw it in. No part of it made sense. It didn't just make sense with the speech in the past episode but the scene in the last episode of season 3. For God's sake they were wearing armor, a dog isn't going to do much against that and they didn't seem to be in much of a rush to leave. Re-watching the episode it was probably the worst scene in the series - either that or Dany at Qarth.

Some of that has to happen. See the book thread for the rest of this post

Cool. Wouldn't expect anything less from someone who can't figure out what the fuck is going on.

I mean shit. He's only mentioned it like every fucking chance he gets (how he wants the Mountain). They've shown the fucker in both the season previews and the upcoming episode previews (The Mountain). The Viper is a new character coming basically out of nowhere and he has a lot of rage, and that rage happens to be against someone who killed his sister and also is in series/episode previews. Good god. Now I feel like looking up spoilers just to ruin you shit.

Lol just because you read the future episode title doesn't mean you outsmarted the show. Brainiac.

No, I just outsmarted you I guess. And I knew who the fuck it was before the title. I just posted that so that you butthurt idiots would realize how much of a spoiler it WASNT

Well, that and being bisexual, which is a bit strange because it is only alluded to in the books.

The show is an adaption of the books. Things will be different.

It's amazing people still don't comprehend that.

Does that mean that the fight possibly won't be between The Mountain and The Viper? Do you think, since it's an adaptation, the fight could possible be between Arya and Sansa? How about the tit sucker?
