Book is better, per usual. But there is no reason to read it once you've seen the movie.

Agreed. Movie was very good. The 30 for 30 was amazing.

Am I the only person who didn't like fox catcher? I thought it was interesting from a historical point of view that someone that nutty could be in charge of the us wrestling team, but when it was over I was left thinking "god that guy was a dick" not "wow that was an awesome movie"

You can think both. A lot of great movies recently had a dick for a main character.

    I don't disagree. I just was 99% that guy was a dick

I'm also not sure what I was expecting. I literally only watched it because everyone here said it was great so I had fairly high expectations for it.

I knew the story going in, so I was excited to see it. The ending was surreal for me, especially since I have been to wrestling camps of wrestlers who knew dave personally and told great stories about him. I thought the movie was good, but there were some serious flaws. I follow Mark Schultz's twitter/facebook and overall he was not happy with the end result, especially how they portrayed him as Dupont's bitch with the sexually suggestive scene. He is much happier with the 30 for 30.

    Soaked in Bleach - 7/10

For anyone that doesn't know, it's a look at the death of Kurt Cobain by the PI that Courtney Love hired right before he died. The dramatizations were pretty whack. But the audio recordings that the guy had were pretty interesting. It was worth the watch.

Deadpool was as good as expected. I might go see it again before it's done in theaters.
  • Ironman92
    A Few Good Men

    A 10+ for me

    Deadpool was awesome. So funny. I give it a 10, a 10, a fucking 10!
  • End of Line
Deadpool. 10/10. Bravo to Reynolds and the production for keeping Deadpool who he is. Closest I have ever seen a comic book movie staying true to the source material. Had myself some chimichangas afterwards and picked up some Francis soap.
  • Wolves of Babylon
I'm also on the Deadpool hype train. Great action, funny, pretty close to the comics.

    10/10

I am also hyped for Suicide Squad

Deadpool 9/10 Great Movie to get a 10 I think they could have pushed the envelope even a little more then they did.
  • Fab4Runner
The Witch - 3/10. I wanted to like it so bad, but it was terrible. Beautifully shot, and Anya Taylor-Joy was very good, but the movie sucked.

Kind of binged on movies last weekend...

Deadpool - Same sentiments as others. It was awesome.

The Martian - 8/10. I was expecting it to be a super fantastical sci-fi flick, but it surprisingly seemed "real."

Ant-Man - 6/10. It was funny enough. Definitely didn't stack up to other Marvel movies, but Ant Man is a lesser known character. Can't wait to see what they do for the character in the new Captain America movie.

Moneyball (on FX) - 7/10. I thought it was entertaining. I'm kind of bummed I missed this one while it was in theaters. I'm not really much of a baseball fan, so I don't know the back-story, but I still enjoyed it.
