My biggest gripe was that it was too damn long.

Yeah, that is my thought so far. I typically don't mind long movies (The Dark Knight and TDKR come to mind), but action movies seem to go faster, IMO. It was also a mistake to start this one around 9p. I knew I would never make it to the end.

Just watched Catching Fire, 7/10. Thought it was better than the first. Think I'm gonna try Short Term 12 now.

    Monument Men
good cast, potentially good story, but the result is a 2 hour slowly told mediocrity.

Bad Grandpa - 6.5/10. Some really hilarious moments, but also pretty boring at times.

Just watched captain Phillips. Probably a 7/10, I enjoyed it
  • Commander of Awesome
Watched Don Jon. I enjoyed it, solid 6.5/7.

    Insomnia (from 2002 I think)

7/10. Pacino and Robin Williams were both very good and I enjoyed it. Watched it because it was a Christopher Nolan film and it didn't disappoint.

Took the kids to see The Lego Movie. It oddly enough was well thought out, I would say 8/10.

Last Vegas - 5/10. Love the actors, and it was humorous/cute at times, but overall it was pretty lame.

My 6 y/o niece saw this the other night and she said it was kind of boring. Did your kids like it as much as you?

It was pretty much a ripoff of Pitch Black ... plus a pet. That's really all it was.

They're over-the-top sci-fi movies, which can still be enjoyable (if not exactly cinematic gold), but this one seemed like too much of a plot ripoff from the first one.
