Concealed Carry

Me?
Yes. Any that don't fall under what they decide needs one. I would imagine tow trucks are locally/state licensed since they typically don't participate in interstate commerce. I don't know, I didn't make the meme. Just the point that it's comparing apples to oranges. The size of something isn't necessarily the reason you have to have a special license to drive it.LJ;1552991 wrote:There is no federal requirement on tow trucks of the size posted, which is what confused me. There are many large commercial vehicles that dont require a CDL federally. -

I misread your post. At the end, I read "... why do you conceal?" There's a "to" in there that changes the question, but which I missed.WebFire;1552967 wrote:That's not at all what I was asking. Neither of those address why you can do one without a license, but can't the other. -

Went to the CCW class a couple Saturday’s ago. Class was OK, I’d probably recommend going somewhere else if someone were to ask how I liked the class I was in. The guy gets a lot of recommendations in my area, but I think I could have found a better option, and when I convince my wife to get her CCW I’ll send her someone else. It wasn’t bad, just should have been better, IMO, but I have nothing to compare it to either.
Haven’t had a chance to get to the sheriff’s office yet. I’ll be doing that in the next 1-2 weeks, just been busy and I’m going to the next county over, so I have to make a 30 minute drive to drop off and pick up, so I need to find a good week where I’ll be able to drop off on my lunch break on Monday/Tuesday and pick up Thursday/Friday (turnaround time in this county is about 2 days).
I bought a S&W Bodyguard .380 for my first carry gun. I did tons of a research and handled several guns, and landed on this one. It had some issues early on with reliability but reports and impressions I’ve read online indicate that those issues are a thing of the past. Retail on the gun is $400, but I got a sweet deal for $349 (before transfer fee), and a $100 gift card for a future purchase, so effectively making the gun $249 since I have numerous things that I need to buy anyway and will use the $100 gift card for).
I had it down to the S&W Bodyguard and the Sig P238 ($550-$600), and went with the Bodyguard.
I couldn’t justify the extra $250-$300 when I could spend that extra money on a decent shotgun for $300, and have both a carry gun and a home defense gun taken care of. -

As a big Sig fan and a proud owner of two Sig p238 one for me and one for the wife. I will be giving my P238 to my daughter to get me the new 9mm. With the deal you made ... Good jobMcFly1955;1556938 wrote:Just to update…
