ernest_t_bassI've missed the last couple weeks. Who is it down to, anyway? Tessanne, Cole, Will, Jackqcuie?

Cole and James were sent home last week. -
se-alumProbably the most boring final 3 they have ever had on the show. This season was by far the worst.

Aguillara can die in a fire for all I care--she's the worst!thavoice;1554409 wrote:I have never really watched this show but was flipping through and saw this cute girl singing and Aguillara's tits all over the screen so I watched that performance. I dont know....she just didnt sound that great if you ask me but Aguillara flipped out how amazing it was. -

She's was at least good to look at this year, but the only personality she has is arrogance. Shakira meshed with the other judges much better, and was much more fun to have on the show.vball10set;1554663 wrote:Aguillara can die in a fire for all I care--she's the worst! -
wildcats20Tessanne wins. And deservedly so.

gutSeason 6 of The Voice returns with a two-night premiere starting Feb. 24 at 8 ET/PT, when <khlink class="khlinks" lang="en" href="http://curiyo.com/en/topic/Shakira" style="border-bottom-style: dashed; border-bottom-width: 1px; cursor: help; display: inline !important; float: none !important; padding: 0px !important; margin: 0px !important; border-bottom-color: rgb(108, 211, 252) !important;">Shakira</khlink> and Usher will rejoin Levine and Shelton as judges.
I'm impressed...both by how quickly this show gets back to work and that they got Usher back in there (Shakira is better than Christina, but still sucks). -

Agree on all counts. The one thing that bothered me the most about CA was not only her incessant babbling, but to your point, everything always came back to her...always!se-alum;1554673 wrote:She's was at least good to look at this year, but the only personality she has is arrogance. This, and fwiw, Adam throwing Will under the bus sucked :thumbdown:wildcats20;1554674 wrote:Tessanne wins. And deservedly so. -

Basically threw all his support to Tessanne, telling her she won the competition. He then told Will that no matter what happened, he considered him a winner as well (a backhanded way of saying he didn't stand a chance)...you need to watch the sequence from Monday night to better understand.Raw Dawgin' it;1554761 wrote:How did he throw him under the bus? -

I saw it - just thought he was being honest. Everyone in the room knew he wasn't going to win, I thought he paid him some good compliments.vball10set;1554767 wrote:Basically threw all his support to Tessanne, telling her she won the competition. Imo, Will and James would be better in bands than soloists. -
ernest_t_bassThe Voice needed either Will or Jackquie to win. Tessanne won't sell squat.

None of them sell shit. I'd much rather win American Idol.ernest_t_bass;1554772 wrote:The Voice needed either Will or Jackquie to win. Tessanne won't sell squat. -

Danielle Bradberry and Casadee Pope will do just fine. Will is going to be a front man, and Jackquie could sell easily to the tweens.Raw Dawgin' it;1554773 wrote:None of them sell shit. I'd much rather win American Idol. -

Of course he was being honest, but honesty only works if you're Simon Cowell and being judged. This show isn't about judging (ala AI), it's a popularity contest, and Levine's compliments were condescending. No biggie, jmo.Raw Dawgin' it;1554770 wrote:I saw it - just thought he was being honest. Everyone in the room knew he wasn't going to win, I thought he paid him some good compliments.

Great news that Usher and Shakira will be back. I disagree, I didn't think Shakira was bad at all. She was funny, and seemed to mesh well with the guys.gut;1554703 wrote:Season 6 of The Voice returns with a two-night premiere starting Feb. 24 at 8 ET/PT, when <khlink class="khlinks" href="http://curiyo.com/en/topic/Shakira" style="border-bottom-style: dashed; border-bottom-width: 1px; cursor: help; display: inline !important; float: none !important; padding: 0px !important; margin: 0px !important; border-bottom-color: rgb(108, 211, 252) !important;" lang="en">Shakira</khlink> and Usher will rejoin Levine and Shelton as judges.

Did the same thing the week before with James. I don't think it's a big deal, maybe a bit insulting to assume the guy believes he's going to win based on how his coach reacts.vball10set;1554767 wrote:Basically threw all his support to Tessanne, telling her she won the competition. Chemistry might be a bit better with Shakira, but her critiques in broken english are difficult to listen to, and some of her song choices rather questionable. Although I actually think Christina gets along really well with the guys,se-alum;1554847 wrote:Great news that Usher and Shakira will be back. I disagree, I didn't think Shakira was bad at all. Just a personality thing....I don't think either one of them add much to the show beyond eye candy.
Otherwise, I'm not sure how 2-3 seasons a year is good for the development of the winners. You're forgotten a lot quicker if 3 months later a new winner is crowned. AI had a whole tour and a bunch of other stuff. -
se-alum
The big difference is AI controls their artists. After the Voice, the artists sign and basically go straight to work for the label, and it's up to the label to develop them. Blake has even said he helps as much as he can afterward(guest spots on tours and such), but they're basically turned over to label management.gut;1555061 wrote:Chemistry might be a bit better with Shakira, but her critiques in broken english are difficult to listen to, and some of her song choices rather questionable. And that's a HUGE difference. Believe AI signed them to 2-3 albums, and had a vested interest in them being a hit. With the labels, if they don't make decent money they probably aren't interested in risking development and promotion of a 2nd album.se-alum;1555068 wrote:The big difference is AI controls their artists.
