edit: fwiw, I can't stand Christina and her incessant ramblings--I echo the STFU sentiment :RpS_angry:
She made a point not to comment at all on the song he sang and just praised him in general.

So who goes home tonight? Hopefully Tessanne(she's just boring) is one of them.

I wonder how long they go with the "Twitter save". At some point it becomes unfair to a contestant who's voting bloc may simply not be as active on Twitter, not to mention I'm sure less people watch/care about the results than are actually voting on performance night.

I think Tessanne should go. Have never liked her, and there was something about that song last night that she just looked totally out of place singing it (even if it was a decent performance).

I'd say it should be between her and Caroline and Ray Boudreaux.

There's something about Will and James that makes me think they could be successful with the right band and right music.

Yea, I don't know how long they will keep it. Caroline's support was overwhelming on the Twitter save last week. She probably had 80% of the vote.

I did think the other two were more deserving of going home. Maybe you could argue it has some merit based on being an indicator of how passionate/committed their fans are, which could mean a better base to have a shot at building into some success.

That said, I'd guess Twitter is paying The Voice a pretty penny. Interactive tv and tie-in's are a big deal for Twitter's future growth.

Ray and Caroline went home, and Matthew was the Twitter save. My fave's now are: 1a) Jacquie 1b) Will 2) Matthew.

Ha! So Ceelo is once again sitting on his ass rather prematurely. Maybe he's not so stupid - maybe he intentionally makes minimal effort so he can steal a paycheck.

I'm a little surprised Matthew was in the bottom 3. Just hard to predict fan bases

3Which one is the one who sang dog days are over? She's freaking awful. The guy who sang the Queen song was pretty boss, but looks gooberish (does that matter)?
  • se-alum
Cole and Jacquie are the only ones left that I would like to see win.

Also, Danielle Bradberry has the #1 country album.

Caroline. She just got sent home.

And that is James. He is a nerd for sure.

I liked the tone of Caroline's voice, but it wasn't powerful enough.

Tessanne was actually really good on a great cover of a Bob Marley classic. LOL - was going to say she just isn't believable as a 40-yr old singing all these young pop songs, but she's only 28!

Terrible song choices for Will Champlin.

I'm tired of Jacquie - her high notes are SOOOOO shrill, and every week it's just more and more squealing (as Simon would say, "indulgent"). Matthew oversings everything, too. Hmmmm...both coached by Christina.

I think BoobTina and Adam are only ones standing next week, unless cole has a huge following.

    BoobTina did look good tonight...

Only 1 goes home. Probably should be Cole (who is quite good, just boring). But if the trend holds, the Twitter save goes home the following week, which would be Matt. Although it looks like he may have a huge Twitter following. I have a feeling Tessanne has reggae nation behind her (Adam isn't stupid).

I kind of would like to see Adam sweep the finals with the only 3 singers left...IMO this should really come down between James and Will.

Yeah and everything she does is all choreographed and fake emotion. Every song she sings sounds the same and she just tries to belt out big power notes and she sounds like she's screaming. I hope one of them goes home.

It's annoying how none of the coaches criticize anymore and apparently Cee Lo loves every song ever made.

    Understatement of the decade.

Tessanne going home--she sang one too many Jamaican songs.

She's annoying, and won't sell records.

Hard to tell since there is never any critique of the singers. I like it a lot more in the beginning when they actually give advice, not when they're just trying to campaign for votes.

Also - Christina going up on stage after Jacquie dedicated a Christina song to Christina...ugh, so fucking hack and trite. I really hope one of her singers goes home.

Not when she did it, but yeah. She went up after Jacquie sang the song Christina picked for her.

Either way - everything her and her singers do is so staged and fabricated, imo.

On the other end, i think Cee Lo's singers go home because he can't string a couple words together to talk up his singers.

Forgot to mention that...her ego is out-of-control this season - she's gotten up on stage impromptu once or twice to sing with an audition/contestant. I suppose she might have been prompted to do that for ratings.

Also I think the judges aren't critical because they would also be criticizing their buddy coaching - you're not going to say "terrible song choice" when they just had a clip of Christina picking the song...or the choreography...or the arrangement (which the coaches clearly have a lot of input)....doesn't leave much left to work with.

Christina is fucking hot, and I can stare at her boobs all night long.

What were you saying about the singers?

Came down to James and Matt.
    Twitter saved James.
