Also, whats with the fruity ass colors? -
AutomatikPlastic, cheaper iPhone. I'd imagine it will hold up better with the wasted female crowd.

You would think Nokia would be doing better if that were the case.I Wear Pants;1498591 wrote:People like colors? -

They copied the style from Android. Windows Phone should get more looks though. It's very fluid to use. -

Agreed. It's a good platform, I use it for work and prefer it to Android and iOS for business purposes.dlazz;1498599 wrote:They copied the style from Android. Windows Phone should get more looks though. It's very fluid to use. -

I think it's a mix of both. The flat design is definitely a signature of Microsoft's recent UIs but it isn't unique to them so Apple could have based their design off something else.dlazz;1498599 wrote:They copied the style from Android. And yeah, I have a Lumia 920 and I really like it. Some frustrations but overall pretty happy. -

That's just the 5C. You know, the phone for poor people. The fancy people, like me, will be getting the 5S.Pick6;1498588 wrote: Also, whats with the fruity ass colors? -

Which I think they fucked up big time. $549 off contract (how most of the world buys phones) is not a budget phone by any stretch of the imagination. Can't imagine this selling all too many in India or China.TedSheckler;1498604 wrote:That's just the 5C. You know, the phone for poor people. The fancy people, like me, will be getting the 5S. -

A co-worker said it was coming out today, but I don't know the validity of that.bases_loaded;1498672 wrote:Whens OS7 drop? -
sherm03It officially rolls out 9/18. But I think you'll probably see it sooner than that. My guess would be Friday since that's when pre-orders on the new iPhone start.

Ironman92So I have been due an upgrade for a while (I have an IPhone 3 lol).....should I get a 5? Is there a 5s?

If you don't want the newest, you're kinda SOL. The 5 is going away when the 5s launches. So you can get either of the new ones, or an 8GB 4s.Ironman92;1498693 wrote:So I have been due an upgrade for a while (I have an IPhone 3 lol).....should I get a 5? Is there a 5s?

Motorola got close with the first one on the Moto X, but I still have to setup a NFC tag and tap my phone to achieve the latter.
My phone is always on Bluetooth. -
ernest_t_bassI'll be getting the wife a 5c. I'm keeping my 4s. Fuck you like_that. Suck on that!

it's not really a memory, that's just how NiCad's work. Lithium ion works full tilt until battery drain so cell loss isn't an issue. I can't remember the last time I saw a Nicad in a cellphone though.. they're all lithium ion and have been for years.sherm03;1498543 wrote:Not anymore. It's a misconception that phone batteries have a "memory" and that if you charge it when the phone is at, say, 50% that the phone will only charge up to 50% capacity after time.
With the new technologies, you can charge your phone multiple times a day...at any discharge level...and it shouldn't affect the life of your battery. -

Getting her the vanilla iPhone while you hold out for the iPhone 6. Good husband. -
ernest_t_bass
She has the 3gs right now. She told me she wants whatever is free (4s), so this is actually better than what she is requesting.like_that;1498877 wrote:Getting her the vanilla iPhone while you hold out for the iPhone 6. Good husband.
