New iPhones

    I'm assuming 5s is released sometime in the morning at retail stores. Nobody will have them online at midnight, correct?

    I wasnt a big fan of the update initially. But after using it for a day I like it more. It hasnt added a lot, but the small things I like more I like a lot more. The control center (or, the double tap opening everything as opposed to 4 app logos at the bottom) is a big upgrade for me. I also like the new messages format slightly more.

    The only thing I dont like is the color scheme and, as far as I can tell, the fact there is no other option.

    I wasnt expecting a whole lot since it is simply an update.

    Except right now I pay $30 for unlimited and all of the new Verizon plans, even the least amount of data, are more expensive.

    Most stores are opening at 8 for the launch.

    I have two separate g-mail accounts synced to my phone. Before the update, I did not have any new emails. After updating, it says I have an unread one. I have searched and searched and don't see an unread one. I had my fiance look, she didn't see it, either. Anyone have any ideas?

    Im a big stupid idiot and don't feel like looking it up so im just going to ask on here. I have a 4s and upgrade not available for like 8 months. Can I sign up for a new 2 year plan and get the $199 price? THANKS GUY!!!!

    Sure, but you still have to pay for your current plan. So you be paying for 2 lines, and you'd have a new phone number.

    Have you actually checked on your upgrade time frame? It's usually 6ish months short of the 2 years.

    This... they need you to pay for the full 2 years, so they can have you pay for the device you're using.

    Not always. They discount the phone (sometimes), but don't give you premium pricing until full 2 years.

    Verizon.

    But I just looked and it now it's saying I am eligible in February, which is my contract date. However up until this point it was saying I could upgrade starting in October. Oh well.

    When I got my 4s they allowed me to do it with like 4 months left but on the Verizon website it doesn't give the leeway. Also, webfire gave me the answer I figured I would get. Thanks.

    Not with AT&T. If you're within a few months of your end of contract, they will give you the best discounted price.

    Was really hoping id be able to just trade in my 4s for a new one pretty much straight up along with tax of course. I doubt Verizon will be giving $200 for the 4s much longer.

    Most carriers went away from the 18 month upgrade cycle this year.
