Fab4RunnerWellllllllllllllllll....that was crazy. Did not expect it at all. Obviously it's been a long time coming, but I really didn't think Clay would be gone with a whole season still to go. After the last few episodes, I was actually kind of sad when it happened. Then Tara starting listing off all of the horrible stuff he's done, and I was like oh yeah, he's terrible and I am glad he is dead.
Really, really hoping Tara doesn't rat out the club, but I can see why it's so tempting to her. Hopefully Jax can work some more miracles and figure out a way for everyone to get out of all of this. It's pretty unrealistic to think SAMCRO can keep getting away with things season after season, but I am fine with that. I like happy conclusions and season finales. -
thavoiceNow THAT is the SOA I have grown to love!
Great shit! She got her guns, and the guy is dead...so is Jax and SOA immunity still good and it cover Tara?????
Love the eps when you just sit there and go...WTF just happened...that was awesome!
Two weeks till the next ep......cannot wait -

No. The DA said her deal with Jax said nothing about a pile of dead bodies.thavoice;1539521 wrote:She got her guns, and the guy is dead...so is Jax and SOA immunity still good and it cover Tara????? -

Yeah I heard that, and will be interesting what happens next.GoChiefs;1539527 wrote:No. The DA said her deal with Jax said nothing about a pile of dead bodies.
The DA was a hard nosed detective on The Shield and made it her life's work to bring them down. WIll see if she can do it to SOA -
Raw Dawgin' it
I thought at the end of the episode Jax would tell Tara about the deal he made helping her. I'm curious how it plays out since there is still another season to go. I was surprised to see the Mayans come back, don't know the last time there were in an episode.Fab4Runner;1539470 wrote:Wellllllllllllllllll....that was crazy. Did not expect it at all. Anyone else think that SAMCRO gets bailed out by Jonny Treo? I could see them coming in and trying to squash the DA but who knows. Should be a great twist with the last two episodes. -
TiernanYeah I'm usually a big fan of Sutters writing...but the fact that Jax has not told Tara about the deal is pretty far fetched. In real life a husband is going to tell his wife that no matter what difficulties they've been having.

After she's been scheming and being manipulative to drive a wedge between him and his mother, lying about having another kid, take his kids away from him, and divorce him? Yea, I'm not telling the bitch anything.Tiernan;1540217 wrote:Yeah I'm usually a big fan of Sutters writing...but the fact that Jax has not told Tara about the deal is pretty far fetched. I would to keep her close.GoChiefs;1540222 wrote:After she's been scheming and being manipulative to drive a wedge between him and his mother, lying about having another kid, take his kids away from him, and divorce him? Yea, I'm not telling the bitch anything. -
Fab4Runner
But what about the part where he understands exactly why she did it? I get why he hasn't told her, and I don't think it's totally unrealistic. She pushed him out back when she was still in jail, so he is doing the same thing. But when they were at the cabin and he told her he understands and that he was sorry being with him drove her to that...yeah that would have been the perfect time to tell her. Again, I get why they can't make it that easy, but it would have made sense.GoChiefs;1540222 wrote:After she's been scheming and being manipulative to drive a wedge between him and his mother, lying about having another kid, take his kids away from him, and divorce him? He kept her close by doing what Fab just talked about. Deal falls through, then what? Jax fails Tara yet again.Raw Dawgin' it;1540223 wrote:I would to keep her close. -
TiernanHe would have at least told her "I'm working on something to get you off the accomplice rap, hang tight." So I'm calling Bullshit.
For the record let it be noted that Bullshit has been called. -
Me?Based on the recent history with Tara, telling her anything about how you're working on a plan to get her out of trouble which involves you tricking the cops and springing someone from a prison transport and then murdering 4 people and making it look like a set up is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Jax had someone watching her at all times for a reason. Risking the plan by telling her too soon would have been stupid--who is to say she wouldn't have phoned the police and they would have been right there to nab them when they broke Clay out? And that's why you aren't a writer for the show.
-
GoChiefsUmmm, we are talking about after the part where they sprung Clay free and killed Gallen. Jax doesn't know the DA said the deal is off.
-
Me?By telling her about your plan, you risk her telling the DA and your plan of keeping them distracted while you get Clay out backfiring and them being there to nab you when you break him out. She obviously can't be trusted. You move forward with the plan and you tell her after when it all works out. Much easier to get her back on board 100% once you show her that your plan worked. Of course Jax doesn't know his plan may not have worked yet, but he wasn't going to risk Tara blowing it up before it could even start.
-
GoChiefsPlease pay attention. Everyone is asking that AFTER the prisoner break and shit, why didn't Jax tell her. Nobody is wondering why he didn't tell her before the plan went down. We all get that.
-
Me?Because he still doesn't know how it's going to play out and he's not stupid enough to assume that he does. She still can't be trusted. It isn't over until it's over. He can't tell her until he knows his deal with the DA is going through. Because until he knows that for sure, he can't trust her to not give them up. And he's obviously right not to trust her. It makes total sense not to tell her if you look at it from his perspective and not from the viewer perspective where you see everything that certain characters are privy to yet.
-
Me?From the viewers perspective it looks dumb because you know more than Jax does.
-
Me?I suppose my larger point is, questioning the writing on this show is just ridiculous at this point.
-
TiernanQuestion everything.
...that's just good Boomer advice. -
GoChiefsI hope Jax dies in the next episode.

justincredibleFinally caught up on the season last night. I think I watched 7 or 8 episodes in the last two days. It kinda sucks not having cable sometimes, but it's not worth paying $100/month to watch one or two shows when they air. Can't wait to see what's in store for the finale.
A few notes since I was way behind. I'm pissed they killed off Filthy Phil, I loved that guy. But, the way they killed those guys was kinda cool. "Aye. Hands off." The final scene with Otto and the Marshal was awesome. So much blood. I'm glad that Galen is finally dead. Fuck that psychopath. Also, I am glad they killed Clay, but it still ended up being a pretty emotional scene. I wasn't expecting it and got a little choked up. And then, like Fab said, you realized all the shitty things he had done as president.
Also, I had no idea that the Shooter Jennings, Jamey Johnson, Twiggy Ramirez collaboration of "You are my Sunshine" was going to be played on the show when Shooter announced it last week. I downloaded it this weekend and then got a nice surprise and the end of last nights episode. -
Fab4RunnerI thought last night was pretty good. Tara is obviously fucked, but clearly she is just desperate and doesn't care if what she is doing is crazy. She just wants her sons out of Charming and that life. I applaud her for not giving up the club in the end, even though Jax and/or Gemma will probably murder her now.
Speaking of Gemma, I hate that ****. It really irks me that she thinks Tara's own children are more important to her than to their own mother. I don't get how she has such a sense of entitlement.
