    Fuck that.

Yeah, if you are running properly, your heal should not strike the ground.

Not sure whether to laugh, feel bad or be upset that they bothered to put "protein shake" in the headline? Like the protein shake had anything to do with it...

I've seen a few good videos where a protein shake was taken on the face.

Short cut and dry article, but more for the women who believe that they will "get bulked up like a man" if they get off the elliptical and hit the weights.

You lose weight by gaining muscle and the more muscle you have the more calories burned per day.

Anyways.....been hitting the weights more the last two weeks with being sidelined from running. Def has been a challenge and I am getting amped up to get out and run again. HOPEFULLY soon.

Don't even need to open the article. Unless a chick is roided to the hilt, she's going to gain minimal muscle. Women have such a limited amount of testosterone that packing on significant mass isn't really possible. Women should hit the squat rack and do deadlifts as much as possible.

Sorry for the "perv" moment but a girl with a "squat butt" can't be beat, especially in yoga pants. Lifting heavier is only going to make them hotter.

The picture in the article is actually a girl getting ready to do a dead lift....coincidence?

    I know what squats/deads do for a girl's booty.

Looking for a new door frame pull-up bar. Any suggestions?

My current one is old and beat to hell, the brand is Iron Gym. The grips are junk and it's not the best fit where it comes in contact with the door jam.

After a quick search I've found this one by the Perfect brand. The flat contact points look like they are a better solution.

I have the Iron Gym in two different rooms. I mean, for a door frame piece, it gets the job done.

I'd really just like to get a bar mounted to the frame of my garage or something. I'm not the handiest, but I'm thinking you could do that for a relatively affordable price? Like below...

Mine is just wore out. I'd just replace the grips, but the screws and everything else are just shot and it's shaky.

Regarding that photo.I have a similar one at my parent's. Very easy to do. Drill holes and use quality hardware. Do not use screws directly into the wood if you can avoid it

"if you think jogging is a superior form of exercise for fat loss, or health, or overall functional fitness, the evidence simply doesn't agree with you."

Yeah, people dont know really how little a mile of jogging actually burns.
However...I still love to do it and with being shelved for about a month I miss it tremendously.

I don't care if people want to do it and enjoy it. To each their own. What grinds my gears is when people try to pass distance running off as a "healthy activity." It's not.

So if walking is go for you and jogging is bad, what is cycling or swimming laps in excess of a mile?

A question for you experienced lifters:

I'm looking for a good chest workout. My pecks have always been the toughest muscle for me to get defined. I've always had decent sized arms, so bulking them up has always been relatively easy... just takes some time. Pecks... just small definition. I'd like for my pecks to be able to look like my arms, but to no avail. Thoughts?

I mean... is this it? Specific set/rep/weight combo? Specific hand placement? There has to be more than this.

Do push-ups until you can't lift you arms above your head?
