Same here. I've got golden jubilee, beefsteak, and cherry. Four plants total. Only one has fruit starting, the rest are just buds.

Tips for pruning fruit trees? I just had a peach tree at my rental house that was overrun. I've never pruned it... once. After looking at it today, I now know that I will have to prune it regularly. Tips?

We can the tomato sauce and blend in the different tomatoes .. Make great Salsa w/ fresh herb, green pepper and onions.. Later we will boil down the tomatoes sauce we have left from the summer into Spaghetti Sauce. For every 2 quart of tomato sauce will make almost one quart of Spaghetti Sauce depending on how thick we want it.

Generally just clip the branches you don't want and snip the smaller sucker starts off of the branches...
You can cut back pretty good on trees. For fruit tree if the branch is a good size you may want to get a tube of tar to cover the cut so insect will not bore into the fresh cut.

Any tips on how to save corn that was blown over from the storm yesterday?
  • redrocket
Give your corn some time, it should stand back up by itself

The bastard deer. I have been gardening for the past 3 years and never a problem with deer.
Irish Spring soap, dawn soap/ w water mixer, egg, hot sauce, soap / water mixer and recently I’ve put out some hanging pie pans to keep out the crows. Redrocket the wife would not let me hang dead crow over the garden. I told her this morning looks like I'm going to have to hang a dead deer now also ..haha

Those bastard ate the tops off my Beef Steak Tomatoes six plants total ... I'm pissed and ready to Stand My Ground fuck Holder he never had the shit kicked out of him or his innocent tomatoes victimized.

They also hit the broccoli and brussel sprouts don’t really care abut those they were not doing that good anyways.

Remember one of the things on my Bucket list was to kill a deer with my tomahawks (three sharpen and ready) … well welcome to the opportunity.
    Vietnam skilled ambush vs Deer
225 pound 64 year old crazy mofo vs young buck

4 Pine trees 15 feet from the garden and the tomato bed, backs will be turned away from me, pine trees hide me, few shape wooden deer chest high stakes on the deer escape path into the wooded area. Deer Hunter mofo

I would have NOT mitred purely out of spite.

Dont feel bad belly. The deer ate all my radishes and a few pepper plants. Didnt bug anything else. This will be my best garden in ten plus years. I have onions the size of oranges right now. I have harvested three big heads of broccoli. Canned 12+ cans of peppers. Its keeping me busy that is for sure.
