How big are they? Can you build a frame to fit over them and completely fence them in?

Radishes repel bugs? Could I buy radishes, extract the oil and spray it on the plants?

Redrocket is correct Radishes does work. I have radishes coming up now and will be putting in a second seeding this week... not to late..

If it is insects or parasites I suggest this for most plants (I use this for my rose, and other flowering plants) I also do this around the outside of my house for fleas, nats and spiders.. I spray this about in the yard also for flea killing.

First step: Dawn liquid dish soap .. mix 1 oz per 3 gallon of water, spray applicator spray the plants ( lightly) and the area around perimeter of the plants. Get rid if some of the insects quickly and can be applied lightly mist direct on the plants. I sometimes use a water can but only water between the plants and NOT on the plants or around the outside of the garden.

…… Peas and Tomatoes Plant DO NOT SPRAY ….

Sometime ants can be aggressive … mix Borax Soap and Sugar together, place in small mounds around the outside of your garden or house foundation.. Borax is a killer to ants they don’t know the different between sugar and Borax

We always plant marigolds and they work pretty good and you can usually find them at any store.

My mom gave me a flat that she said she had got discounted. I planted them around the edge of the raised beds, they all died. All the ones she gave to my sister died, and all hers died. For some reason I didnt make that connection. Ok, so I need some marigolds and maybe a radish plant.
