Will Zimmerman get a fair trial in the Travon Martin case?

End result is Blacks get to act all pissed he didn't get more but they can live with it. Whites get to gripe about how there was "no evidence" but they can live with it and everybody is happy until the next race trial.
It's not a race trial, it's a murder trial. Your system of justice might sound nice in your head, but that isn't the way we do things here.

I have watched so many episodes of Law and Order over the years. It had given me an inflated positive impression of prosecutors and the opposite for defense attorneys. While I am sure there are many that fit that generalization, this has helped me to realize that it's not so clear, which is obviously most logical. I'm ashamed in my illogical perceptions.

The closing argument by Mark O'Mara is extremely effective and quite the opposite of the prosecutor's yesterday. He is extremely calm and methodical. When he does bring passion, it is extremely noticeable. The prosecutor on the other hand tried to instill passion throughout, but I think people often become habituated and the passion is less effective the longer it persists. In addition, it deters from the points that should be about passion and emotion since there is no contrast between the two.

Not great Closing Remarks by the Defense IMO. Had the upper hand after the State's buffoonery yesterday but have not seized the day today. Doesn't matter FL isn't letting this fish off the hook no matter what happens in that jury room.

are you going full retard? Sure sounds like it. How can a jury manipulate a verdict? They going to make up their own with their own sentencing too?

Haven't you read a John Grisham book? Those are all non-fiction, right? I assume this is where he gets his legal research.
