Wrestling is being eliminated from the Olympics

  I know. I am just saying there are plenty of pretty damn tough college wrestlers who go straight to the MMA. In fact, it seems more guys opt to go to MMA than try for the Olympics.

  College wrestling backgrounds are all over MMA. I don't pay as close attention to UFC as I used to, but I'd say Chad Mendes has got be the most well known in that regard.
  
  I caught a PPV a few months ago of young kid, 21 or so absolutely destroying some older vet.....beat his face bad. Middleweight maybe? Anyway I think he had a very good wrestling background they mentioned. I could be way off though. Anyone have the slightest clue of his name? Sorry for the lack of details.
