I miss living in the ohio valley....curious to hear what the local papers and local news shows have to say. They always were pretty hush about anything that was a steuby rumor.
Still the same. None of the local newspapers have reported anything about it until recently due to Anonymous. News9 just showed the hacking Anonymous did. Havent reported anything about the alleged rape and protests until then. Its a joke. The kids' parents were suing this prinnfield.com chick until 2 days ago the defamation lawsuit was dropped/dismissed. Doesnt look good at all.

Are they able to act on illegally obtained evidence? I honestly have no idea what the rules on that are.

What illegally obtained evidence has anonymous gotten that the feds could/should have already have?

Why would the Feds be investigating a rape?

I'm wondering if any information obtained via a hack can be used as probable cause for law enforcement to launch an investigation/conduct searches on anyone identified as being involved or covering up.

If the answer is no, then they haven't provided anything for authorities to act on.

Maybe, the word I am wanting to use is proper authorities instead feds. However, I do know the FEDS were involved in getting the rollredroll website back.

I think they are saying..hey...this stuff is out there...we found it on one losers email linking to other boosters...go get it and if you don't well continue to destroy the individuals involved and make you look bad.

I remember first reading about it on that bloggers site and seeing the tweets about "dead body", referring to the girl that was roofied. I said then, if they have a term that they can tweet and others know what it is, its happened before.

We would make jokes about them being the Plymouth Big Red and each one of us were gone from that site in no time. I love how he says he doesnt even know the football players but he was having them send him pictures from parties. Jim Parks has no clue what he is in for with Anonymous.

Did anyone see the coachs comments as the start of the season to some reporter after she asked him why werent any players kicked off the team that were involved. His reponse was "you just pissed me off and you are going to get yours and if not you then someone close to you will".

Sherrif Abdalla calling anonymous "complete idiots" was icing on the cake though. The good ole boys corruption is about to come to an end there.
Do these people know how far they're going though? They may be great hackers, but who knows how far the good ole boys will go to keep the status quo. I wouldn't be shocked if they ever tried to mug or even kill those hackers

They linked MOW's facebook. Dude looks like a pedo.

Lol. How are they ever going to mug or kill who they don't know? Nobody knows who Anonymous is.

lol...Stooby's finest have zero (0.0) chance of identifying them, finding them or otherwise knowing anything they don't want them to know much less muggin' 'em...FBI hasn't...what makes you think they could lol

Cops have to follow rules though. They can't just "go get it". I've just never understood the social cause hacking. It doesn't really seem to benefit anyone if law enforcement can't use the information, and I don't see how they would be able to.

Plenty of hackers have been identified and arrested. Saying the fbi hasn't is like saying the dea hasn't identifyed drug smugglers. You'll never get all of them, but i think a lot of people on this thread are making hackers out to be a lot more untouchable than they are.

But yeah, none of them are in danger of getting mugged by steubenville residents haha.

You don't hack the FBI, Mastercard, Playstation Network, the CIA.... (insert big dog status here) without someone seeking your arrest. They're good.

We are talking about the group Anonymous specifically. Of course hackers have been identified, but not many have from this specific group. They are very good at what they do.

Multiple people were arrested for the Sony hack. And MasterCard. And PayPal.

They're obviously very skilled technically, but they aren't ghosts. Some of the posts on here are like they're legends that nobody can actually prove exist.
  • GoChiefs
They are indeed legends at what they do.
  • ytownfootball
I think what many are not understanding is that the group isn't all in an apartment somewhere lol...it's a movement, when one or several go down there are plenty to fill their void...step in and play varsity lol.
