Yep. But will he take one for Big Red and Reno ??? Especially since there 'wasn't' an attempted cover up.fish82;1514594 wrote:He's the IT guy. If he sings, heads will be rolling bigtime. -

TiernanThat bitch Cnty Prosecutor that tried to get the girl to drop charges because she knew her son was involved needs to hang too.

rrfanWhat did he cover up? Was he trying to cover up the kids cell phones...I am not sure what that means other than there is much more that we don't know.

He's the IT director for the High School. The safe assumption is that he was deleting emails/correspondence between staff members directly related to the case.rrfan;1514792 wrote:What did he cover up? Just sounds like another attempt by Reno and the admins to point the finger at the "little" guy as the root of the problem. NO DOUBT this IT guy was told to make some stuff disappear and he did what was asked and now has to fall on the sword. He needs to file his own lawsuit against the school and let the details come out in court. This guy may know more than ANYONE else involved!fish82;1514795 wrote:He's the IT director for the High School. Tigerfan00Only 5% of the blame falls on the IT guy.

Which means that somewhere, Thinthick is gnashing his teeth and moaning about how this stuff is taking emphasis away from the football team. -
ernest_t_bassReno is safe from indictment, but an assistant coach was indicted. I still don't see how Reno keeps his job. (He will)

LJSince A coach was indicted, i think the OHSAA should come down and suspend the corrupt football program for a season, at the very least the post-season. Teach these inbreds that there are much more important things in life other than HI SKOOL FOOTBAW

Because high school football is put above doing what's right?
He'd be gone in anyplace decent. -

We're talking Steubenville. Too much stuff that's come out during the course of this whole thing makes me think the answer to the question here is different than what you'd expect from anyplace decent.queencitybuckeye;1542841 wrote:Because high school football is put above doing what's right?

this is off topic, but what is your deal with making fun of anybody who follows high school football? You are a die-hard OSU fan..is there really much difference between you and crazy HS football fan? Both obsessed with a sport/team played by student athletes.LJ;1542840 wrote:Teach these inbreds that there are much more important things in life other than HI SKOOL FOOTBAW -

HS teams don't play the viper. Do you even know what the viper position is? die-hard fan? What makes you say that? I didn't watch a few games this year (FAMU, Purdue) and usually miss a few games every season. I don't pay for tickets anymore because I enjoy watching the games at home more than going and honestly, if they did away with OSU football tomorrow my upcoming Saturday would be no different. I don't even enjoy following recruiting.Pick6;1542867 wrote:this is off topic, but what is your deal with making fun of anybody who follows high school football? What's creepy is you have these middle aged men who have lives that revolve around what 14-19 year olds do on friday nights. They take it to a completely different level. Many fans of the programs are great examples of this. The ones that think Reno shouldn't be fired because he does a great job on the field. -

I'd argue that the level at which one follows them both range from healthy interest to incredibly creepy. I'd also note the difference that in one, the players in question are adults.Pick6;1542867 wrote:this is off topic, but what is your deal with making fun of anybody who follows high school football? rrfanThere are kids on the Steubenville team that had nothing to do with this and are not doing anything wrong. I am not in favor of punishing the entire team for the actions of what seems to be 5-10 people. However, those associated with this should be punished/lost jobs, kicked off teams, jail time...maybe more depending on what they knew. Seems to keep getting deeper with people that knew and tried to cover it up.
