Understandable.rmolin73;1141191 wrote:My whole point was that there are other centers for other races on other college campuses. I have said it on a number of occasions that white people that complain of the perks that minorities have are just as bad as the minorities that complain about their lack of those perks. All of them can just leave while the intelligent continue to make money and mock them in the process. I mean who gives a ratts ass about any Ohio State's Hale Hall? Get your degree, get a job, and make money is what you should be focusing on. It just sounds like the complaints of the inferior.
But I don't think that your point was clearly evident with the post.
It was initially about Ohio State's Hale Hall because that's where vandalism took place. I would also venture to say that a public education that is publicly funded would (or should) have this "equality" to it -- that's the gist of what was being asked.

gutIf he isn't convicted, bank on riots. People have already made-up their minds about what constitutes "justice". I do suspect that, more than most cases, as the real facts come out we will see just how irresponsible the media truly has been in reporting these events.
Maybe lethal force in self-defense wasn't justified. But I suspect it will be hard for 12 jurors to conclude that beyond a reasonable doubt. My suspiciion is this is not a winnable case for the DA and it is proceeding to trial only to satisfy the blood lust. The best possible outcome, perhaps even for Zimmerman, is to plead guilty to a lesser charge and maybe get 12 months + probation. -

Nice thought, but we've got a better chance of seeing Jesus than this happening.sleeper;1141780 wrote:Good. Now hopefully all the people protesting can go back to "looking" for work. -

Without question their will be riots. Plus, Zimmerman will have to relocate to a third world country or else he will wind up in a body bag. Alternatively, if he is found to be guilty and goes to jail, he will be dead within a week. I think with each passing day it has become more and more apparent the media has pulled a "Duke/Lacrosse". This guy might be guilty of manslaughter, I just don't see how they are going to be able to prove he killed the kid just because he was black.gut;1141832 wrote:If he isn't convicted, bank on riots. See my earlier point. If I am Zimmerman, I am fearful "jail-house justice" would prevail. That is going to make it very difficult for Zimmerman to plead to a lesser charge unless his safety can be promised.gut;1141832 wrote:Maybe lethal force in self-defense wasn't justified. Sure, he'll go to a low-security prison where there's mostly only petty thieves, some pot smokers, Blagojevich and Countrywide execs. I'm sure any plea will keep him out of gen pop. I also wonder, if he's acquitted, if he can sue MSNBC for that hit-piece edit they did. Take that settlement, change your name, and move to Canada.Little Danny;1141844 wrote:

Also, I don't think it will be tried as a hate crime. Aside from not being able to prove it, it's ultimately not relevant as far as justice goes - would be a stiffer sentences, but ultimately he's guilty of negligent homicide or he's not, prejudice may have played a roll in his actions but I don't think that qualifies as a hate crime. Could end-up being like Casey Anthony where if the DA overreaches on the charges, she loses on all counts. -

dwccrewFlorida.....where the DA goes for homeruns when they really should just be looking for a base hit. Casey Anthony and the death penalty, now George Zimmerman and 2nd degree murder charges. They are a bunch of dumbshits down there. Why not charge him with something that could stick?

Agreed. If this lady is serious about pushing Murder 2, then she might be the dumbest DA in the country. Unless she seats 12 Panthers on the jury, George is as good as walking.dwccrew;1142072 wrote:Florida.....where the DA goes for homeruns when they really should just be looking for a base hit. sherm03Why is Murder 2 such a stretch in this case? Under Florida Law...

If Zimmerman's account is accurate and Williams approached him after he was retreating, then the statute doesn't apply in the slightest. Just the 911 recordings alone are enough to shoot down "depraved mind."sherm03;1142201 wrote:Why is Murder 2 such a stretch in this case? Under Florida Law...

mellaZimmerman is a piece of crap that was looking for trouble. Murder 2 is the right call, but let it go to a jury to make the final determination.

They must feel they have enough evidence to disprove Zimmerman's account...otherwise they wouldn't go for the charge. I just think that they know how bad they screwed the pooch with the Casey Anthony trial, and they can't afford to blow another high profile case again.fish82;1142212 wrote:If Zimmerman's account is accurate and Williams approached him after he was retreating, then the statute doesn't apply in the slightest. passwordI say he is convicted of 2nd degree murder and gets the max. It will not matter what the evidence says, the black community is going to threaten to burn down the whole city and kill every member of the jury if the don't convict Zimmerman, plus this is election time for Obama. Obama has dispatched the justice department to investigate the police and his bun boy Eric Holder has said that they will investigate and file charges against the police department if Zimmerman is not charged. I wonder if the justice department will be investigating Sharpton and the black panthers for their crimes. People like these idiots are why I hope Zimmerman is found not guilty and Sharpton gets hit by a bus driven by a black guy.

Really a shame they got Big Al involved. The family seemed very sincere and sympathetic. Big Al sitting there really kind of "cheapens" their loss, unfortunately.ccrunner609;1142042 wrote:Saw video clip of his mother........having Al Sharpton standing there just wreaks of BS.
