Trayvon Martin

i dont think anyone said he was an angel....based on many of the pics ive seen he looks rather soft to me...he certainly wouldnt be in the top 50 percent of thugs in columbus public schools...i really think his past doesent matter. i dont care if dude was racist or not. i lean more towards some type of paranoia. i mean he has to lead the nation in 911 calls (personally i found the 911 calls disturbing) that has to mean something. he certainly profiled this kid justifiably or not. this is the world we live in today. i bet these people are good people. probably a lot of ''advisors" taking over now and convincing them what they should do. its hard for me to judge them. they lost their son that has to change you and in grief i dont know how i would react. i cant imagine my pain if i lost one of my family members. its a tragedy all the way aroundpassword;1129713 wrote:I am all for prosecuting Zimmerman with a crime, not because he is a racist, but because he shot a young kid. I have a problem with the family and the circus that is being created by the racist Sharpton and his goons. They tried to make this kid out to be an angel that has never done anything wrong so they could gain publicity and unite the blacks against the whites, Zimmerman isn't even white but they would not get as much attention if they said that a Hispanic guy shot a black guy. I don't know what the laws are in Florida as to what a neighborhood watch person can or can't do, but carrying a gun in a gated community seems a little on the extreme side to me. -

I believe everything I have written, but you seem to miss the real picture here. A young kid was killed by a neighborhood watch guy in Florida, but people just want to say a racist white guy killed a innocent black kid for no reason. My point is, why does it matter what race either of the people were?Sykotyk;1129722 wrote:dwccrew, I seriously doubt 'password' even believes anything he's writing on here. He's probably in his parent's basement beating off furiously to the banter he's eliciting in us from his buffoonery. -

I have heard some of the calls and yes the guy has some issues that should have been noticed a long time ago. The parents are being used by the people that are advising them, every time someone like Sharpton gets involved things get out of hand. More often the whole situation blows up in his face and he is caught in lies that just make things worse for the victim and he just moves on, that is why some people are getting fed up with the racist talk.Gblock;1129731 wrote:i dont think anyone said he was an angel....based on many of the pics ive seen he looks rather soft to me...he certainly wouldnt be in the top 50 percent of thugs in columbus public schools...i really think his past doesent matter. i dont care if dude was racist or not. i lean more towards some type of paranoia. i mean he has to lead the nation in 911 calls (personally i found the 911 calls disturbing) that has to mean something. he certainly profiled this kid justifiably or not. this is the world we live in today. i bet these people are good people. probably a lot of ''advisors" taking over now and convincing them what they should do. its hard for me to judge them. they lost their son that has to change you and in grief i dont know how i would react. i cant imagine my pain if i lost one of my family members. its a tragedy all the way around -
hoops23It's funny because the kid has taken pictures of himself in baggy pants flipping the bird that he's a "thug" and it's his fault.
He wasn't armed. He paid for the items he got. He was stalked.
Those are three things we know.
If Zimmerman isn't following the kid, nothing happens. The dispatcher told him that they didn't need him to keep pursuit, but he did anyway.
Look at it this way. Say Zimmerman calls the police and lets the police handle it. The police approach Martin and see he's not armed and only has skittles and whatever else and that he's returning to his fathers' home. What would the police do? Nothing, because Martin was doing nothing wrong. -

But again, none of this is Trayvon's fault. People are getting pissed at Trayvon and trying to place blame on him because they don't want a race war to come out of this. That's ridiculous.password;1129761 wrote:I have heard some of the calls and yes the guy has some issues that should have been noticed a long time ago. Look at some of the posts on here. It's like people are trying to paint Trayvon in a negative light in order to place blame on him for the entire situation. -

Tell me where you see anything about him continuing pursuit despite dispatchers telling him not to. And he did call the police so they could handle it. But in the time it took them to show up and investigate, someone attacked someone, and hell broke loose.

I don't think you can blame the kid for being killed, unless he did attack Zimmerman, but none of that would have happened if Zimmerman would have just stayed in his car until police arrived, Zimmerman was wrong. I don't know if people are trying to blame the kid so they can avoid a race war. I think that people are bringing out the negative stuff about the kid because they are getting tired of the way he is being portrayed as an angel, but all we have heard about the other guy is he is a racist monster. When people use the media to stir the pot, be prepared for other people to try and dig shit up to prove you are not all that innocent and that you are leaving things out because it looks better for you, that is just the way society is these days.hoops23;1129767 wrote:But again, none of this is Trayvon's fault. No, they're not...at least as far as I can see. If you have a link showing that they are, please post it. Otherwise, I'm assuming you're just making shit up.2kool4skool;1129636 wrote:Florida 911 Operators are deputized. But regardless, part of his training for this weekend course he prided himself on would have indicated he should follow dispatcher advice during an emergency.
I have no idea what he was doing, and for that matter, neither do you. Engaging in wild conjecture is silly, which is why I don't do it. All we have at this point is Zimmerman's account of events, which happens to be corroborated by at least 2 witnesses.2kool4skool;1129636 wrote:Oh, so he followed him, and as soon as he turned around and stopped pursuing him, that's when Martin decided to attack. He was then beat up by the unarmed teenager he had 100 lbs on.
Makes sense. Almost as much sense as the idea that Martin decided to case some houses(in the same gated community he was living in) and then fly into a violent rage after walking to the gas station to get some skittles and talk to his girlfriend on the phone.

Are people really that desperate to frame this issue that they'll claim a picture of a random black kid posing with his pants sagging and middle fingers up is Martin? How transparent can you get? -

If Martin was trolling around someone's house that isn't his, nothing happens. Two can play that game.hoops23;1129764 wrote:It's funny because the kid has taken pictures of himself in baggy pants flipping the bird that he's a "thug" and it's his fault.

I wonder if this family can go after Spike Lee. They had to go to a hotel for their own safety. I would at least go after him for the costs and pain and suffering. Every middle and upper class person I know wears hoodies. I don't know anyone of even reasonable intelligence that would take it as "dressing like a hoodlum." This is simply awful writing.password;1130113 wrote:Here is a good story with NO racist accusations and a little common sense about the whole incident.

Who has done that? I haven't seen anyone posting fake photos of Zimmerman and trying to pass them off as real? What do you imagine is the motive for circulating a false claim that a photo of another black male with sagging pants is Martin?ksig489;1129804 wrote:Just like people hearing the story from a liberal rag and assuming that it is all true? -
