  It seems like Tim Cook wants to take the company in another direction. Or at least start over fresh with the iphone. I believe it is being scrapped completely and they are starting over from scratch. I've heard mid 2012 at the earliest.

  I heard essentially the same thing. Tim Cook really feels the future is in stylus devices so I would guess they're going to modify the iPhone to be optimized for it.

  Rumor has it, Tim Cook believes that flip phones are going to make a comeback, and essentially he wants to go w/ the flip phone iPhone.
