Ruination is one of my favorite beers, especially on tap. If you like hops get it sometime.

Ommegang is an American brewery. I've been let down with most of their beers. For the most part everything I've had from them is a bit above average, can get better beers for the same price or slightly higher.

If you'd be so kind as to "like" it by the 19th I'd be appreciative as I think I would have a lot of fun (and my brother too who I would likely take) at that beer festival.

That's crazy Belgian's wouldn't have such an appreciation for amazing beers like Cantillion. I'm more than willing to pay the $17-$25 a bottle; some of the best beers in the world.

Has anyone ever tried Conway's Irish Ale by Great Lakes or Yuengling Bock?

Conway's Irish Ale I have had multiple times. It is a pretty good Irish Red, have some at the house right now. Haven't tried the Yuengling Bock yet, a friend did the other day and said it wasn't anything special.

We have one of the most vibrant craft beer cultures in the world so yes that's accurate.

It's not. I don't think its bad, but nothing I'd buy for myself.

    Conway is solid.

Thanks for that video Pants. I ended up watching quite a few Stone youtube vids tonight. It made the night go easier.

About ready to bust into the Hopslam. I do have a couple of Stone bombers in the fridge, but they will have to wait.
  • I Wear Pants
I watch so many Stone and Dogfishhead videos on Youtube it isn't even funny. If I'm on the computer I'm probably trying to learn how to brew better.

...I tried a new beer to me over the weekend and enjoyed it very much called Weihenstephaner ( a German wheat beer). I enjoy wheat beers but had never this, and it's made at the oldest brewery in Germany's Bavaria region. Anyone else ever tried it?

I've had this. Pretty close to the best beer I've ever had; lives up to the hype.

I had a couple of the Sam Adams Alpine Spring earlier. Not to bad over all for a lager. Now its on to the Tommyknocker maple nut brown. Then into the unknown...
