How've you been IWP? I haven't seen you on here in a bit.

And thank you for the head's up on the pepper porter. I do actually like porters, so I may have to keep an eye out for this.
    I've been well.

Sadly however the pepper porter is merely a homebrew so you'd be searching for a while I imagine.

Someone needs to do it, then.

    Glad to hear you're good.

    Lagunitas Night Time Ale

Wow. I've never been a huge fan of black IPAs, but this is excellent. 9/10. I'll buy again.

And at $5.99 for a bomber, it's a friggin' steal!

Went to a Christmas beer tap takeover tonight. I had four and tried a couple others.

    i would rank them.

    Brew Kettel
    Fat head holly jolly
    revolution (only sampled)
    12 dogs
    great lakes
    7th son (only sampled)

what at are some other good christmas ales you would recommend. BTW tried these at Champps easton location where it was only 2.25 a pint on Thursdays

Post #8194 & #8195 are my recommends. All better than what you had last night.

Also had Pride and Joy last night for $2.25 a pint which I thought was a steal.

Went to founders last night which was excellent. Got to try Backwoods Bastard (incredible) and Big Lushious, their new release, a stout with raspberries (not incredible). Heading to Bell's today, anyone else been?

Perin and Vivant are also in GR and worth a tasting.

Doing a tasting of all of Listermann's Audit Ales tonight with my neighbor. I loved all of them except for the last one when they released them (the last one didn't seem to be bottled correctly - no carbonation). So I'm excited to line them all up and try them all next to each other.

Had a Blackout Stout at about 11 AM at work.

    I love where I work.

Just saw Southern Tier released a Rum Barrel aged Pumking. Looks like it's out now but haven't seen it yet, although haven't been looking for it either. Either way sounds good; might try and find some this weekend.

The Southern Tier 2XMas is very tasty this year.

Got a sixer of Mt. Carmel's Coffee Brown today and it is so fucking good. I had it back in August at a beer/comedy festival in Cincy and it blew me away. But they only served it on tap at the brewery. They just started bottling it this month and I couldn't be happier.

    Raging bitch pretty damn good.

I had this at Jungle Jim's Beer Fest back in June. I loved it. I haven't seen it in the stores yet, but I will look for it. Their Imperial IPA is great as well.

I found it at the Hyde Park Kroger yesterday. I saw an article at the beginning of the month that they were hoping to get distribution of it up and running by the end of the month. So keep checking, should be hitting Jungle Jim's soon.

Did you ever hit up Perrin? I had their Kona Brown Sunday at the show I did in Detroit and it was excellent.
