When the FF is in Indy a lot of casual basketball fans in the state go regardless. Now they have a serious rooting interest. Indy is gonna be buzzing with Butler fever for the next week. I wouldnt be surprised if it was 65% pro Butler in LOS.
And, for the first time in years (since my team literally hasn't been there in years), THIS is why I will have a rooting interest in the Final Four. This type of excitement should be what the Final Four is about. I am hoping to go. The atmosphere will be unbelievable. Hoosiers baby, in the basketball heartland.
Butler WILL be playing for a spot in the national final as the final seconds tick away in next Saturday's semi-final -- if they haven't locked it up already. That's the difference between the Bulldogs and George Mason. Butler belongs.
