Elite 8: (2) Kansas State vs. (5) Butler
-
Non52-51 K-State
Butler regrouped against Syracuse
they must do it again -
SportsAndLadyDamnit, I need Butler to win or lose by 4 or less!
-
hoops23Lenny Elmore is garbage.
Butler is choking this one away!! -
NonButler coach called the timeout that Matta didn't
will it lead to a better result?
only one point but doesn't want to wait 31 seconds for the under-4, Butler needed the timeout immediately -

Im a genious on the first sentence. But they proved me wrong on the second. Getting it up tempo in lass than 2 minutes and took the lead. they need to continue this pace.Laley23 wrote: K St needs to get this game going up and down the last 5 minutes. They havent all game, so I doubt they can now. -
se-alumGus is gettin' fired up!
-
mallymal614You have to bring out a dictionary with some of the words Gus uses lol.
-
Laley23Len Elmore is such a buzzkill with Gus on the call!
-
Laley23K St getting called on the post defense that Butler isnt getting called for. That has been huge this half in the foul disparity.
-
mallymal614Gus Johnson - "Call him Mr. Willie Wonka. His jump shots pour like a chocolate factory"
lol he didn't really say that, but that sounds like something he would say. -
hoops23
+100.Laley23 wrote: Len Elmore is such a buzzkill with Gus on the call!
They couldn't have found a worse partner for Gus.. -
Nonhow about Gus and Raf
that would be bonkers -

As much as you enjoy Clemente and Pullen, I love watching Hayward and Butler. I've loved watching the Bulldogs since the days Darnell Archey was shooting 30-foot rainbows over opponents from the deep corner. That Sweet 16 run in '03 sealed the deal for me.Laley23 wrote:just wondering...why not? I really enjoy watching Pullen and Clemente play.
I just like Butler's old school feel to the game. It's like they've been transported from '50s Indiana and taking on the one-class IHSAA Tournament. Sounds cliche, sure, but cool nonetheless.
I also despite Frank Martin. -
NonButler is definitely better for the Final Four.
K-State has some great players, though, and they've gained identity the past few days -

I understand why you want to watch Butler. I just didnt know what the hatred for K St was. Thats all.reclegend22 wrote:

reclegend22Also, I just realized that 30-foot rainbows from the deep corners are impossible
-
NonClemente what a play
54-54 -
mallymal614This tournament has been too crazy.
-
reclegend22I do have to give Clemente his due. I think he's the most offensively talented player in the Big 12. He's a scoring machine when he wants to be. He did it at Miami against the ACC and he's doing it now.
-
NonNored took a lot of seconds
but scored
58-54 -
Laley23Pullen misses an open 3 badly. That wouldve been huge.
-
Laley23big FTs coming here.
-
Nonmissed free throw
could be the game -
Laley23the K St guards have just been off all game. It will be why they lose.
