Are you confusing shots with opinions?

My opinion is that Meyer is a liar and his idiotic decisions over the past two months have been ridiculous.

Some may consider that a shot but its an opinion. I think there is something more to this story and I hope we eventually find out.

I am not sure anyone is discounting his health issues. But again, at least to me...the "timing" of it all as far as announcing. During the bowl week? He could have easily waited another week. But the timing of what he did, was POOR judgement and classless IMO.

Certainly shots have been taken. And when you make a choice to do what Meyer has done, quit, come back, leave , then not...you open yourself up to shots, and deservingly so. National media is taking their shots as well. It is what it is....and comes with the territory when you make a hasty decision and then change it multiple times after holding all the press at bay during bowl week.

Very well written and right on the mark, as far as I'm concerned.

As why I "care" whether or not Urban's a liar -- I think I already said I detest liars; especially those who use the lies to make themselves look (1) good (2) better (3) sympathetic.

Do all college coaches lie?

I doubt it.

I'm sure many of them do, but I haven't seen any do it on the scale this was done.
