There is no route for OSU. None.

They want Bama in that thing so bad. OSU is not jumping them in any way.

Pretty standard it looks to me, perfectly predictable

AP has nothing to do with the playoffs.

Anyone know what Strength of Schedule data the committee actually uses?

The one that makes Boston College and Georgia Tech formidable opponents and therefore very good wins

Perhaps if the B!G is left out at the SEC gets in two that the system will blow up to 8; with the 5 power autos (if they have a championship game), two at large and best from so called group of 5 if ranked high enough.

Not necessarily--I'd have to think that an OSU/Bama matchup in a New Years Six bowl would be a dream game

    I don't like the byes.

Lot of media people saying OSU needs a TCU win or else they won’t get in. Basically that Bama would get in over osu even with a Wisconsin blowout.

Really drives me crazy Bama can just coast through an FCS-filled cake schedule and lose easily to their one quality opponent and just be penciled in because they’re Bama.

Everyone has byes before bowl games already.

If they get in over a conference champ...heads will roll and we will have a 8 team playoff with the top seeded teams getting a home game first round. 6 team playoff is stupid. Why pass up the millions of dollard.

You don't know what a bye is.

...and I've heard lots of media people saying just the opposite, since they feel a two loss Oklahoma would get in over a two loss OSU--even though the Sooners wouldn't be a conference champ (head to head tiebreaker)...I guess we'll have to win Saturday and see what happens

Did we not go through this same shit last year with OSU not being a conference champion, and still getting in...

Heads did not roll. Nobody had a problem with OSU getting in without playing in a conference title game last year. But this year...its the end all be all of what matters lololol.

Right. The only people upset were Penn State fans(can't really blame them), OSU haters, and Clay Travis.

Hell, last year's example is even worse than this year. Penn State beat OSU AND won the conference championship.

Bama's resume isn't as good as OSU's last year, but I don't care.

OSU has no one to blame but themselves if they don't get in. Don't get blown out by Iowa.
