B....get to watch another big OSU game

He'll there might be a legitimate scenario where OSU plays in B1G Championship, loses in OT and still makes playoffs.

Get ready boys....they play even close to that next week and they lose to UM at home

Pray for low winds and dry conditions. If that happens...OSU 28-10. Sell out to stop the run, because O'korn is BAD.

    A. One less game and one less chance at the coaches getting Jt hurt by running him 30 times cause the game is close.

When Burrow time comes, I think everyone is going to be happy with how it goes.

we are not scoring 28 next week. Game will be a 17-14 UM win. We only score one TD on offense. The other will be a pick 6.

I like how Burrow has looked coming in late in the games. I know it is against a wore out team and sometimes second and third team players.

Eh, I disagree. 1 time in the last 6 games vs UM have they scored less than 28. If conditions are good, you'll see a whole bunch of new wrinkles and and a practically new offense. Take last year Michigan State to UM difference as the template for what I expect as far as offense saturday

if anyone isn't happy with how OSU has fared with JT running the offense that is a problem

I mean it did cost then a chance to get in the playoffs last year when they puckered up and gave it to JT like 30 times instead of the guy who is leading MVP in NFL this year.....but that's on coaches not necessarily JT

I was meaning once he's earned the starter's job, not replacing upon injury

I just hope people know how good we have it with JT...we replaced almost every starter on O and he has led this offense well

I saw people on FB and twitter legit calling for Burrow.

    People are fucking dumb.

As good as Burrow might be, I am very happy with Jt. I dont like that the coaches put him in positions that they do, but that is something I hope Urban will eventually fix. We need some new play callers. Cardale Jones tweeted out asking what Tom Herman was doing saturday around noon. lol. I am guessing we as fans are not the only ones noticing how bad some of this play calling has been.

Don't know if they are dumb it those sites everyone posting that stuff is dramatic. They keep ESPN successful buying into everything.

I agree...it's not just JT, it's the play calling and the offensive scheme. He's not being given the opportunity to get into a rhythm, and this is where he shines. Let him go!!!

JT has not thrown the deep ball very well this season, but I completely agree that the offensive problems are not his fault. I don't begin to claim that I know more than the OSU coaching staff because I clearly don't. Defensive schemes do dictate what you can or can't do sometimes. That said, I just don't understand much of the play-calling and decision-making by the offensive staff.

For example, JT Barrett has carried the ball 164 times this season. Mike Weber has 166 carries. Curtis Samuel has only 84.

Samuel is also involved in the passing game and has 61 receptions, but for him to have only half as many carries as Barrett is just absurd to me. Weber only has 2 more carries than JT on the season and he's the featured running back! I know that the read option is very prevalent in Urban's offense, but I'd be willing to bet that at least 1/3 of those 164 carries by Barrett are on designed runs or QB draws. This offense is based entirely too much on letting JT run the football, rather than getting the ball in the hands of your best RB and your best overall playmaker. Every time the weather is cold/rainy/windy, the staff goes into a shell and lets JT run QB draws all day long, and that's a recipe for disaster.

Against TTUN, the offensive staff better focus on running the football WITH RUNNING BACKS, getting the ball to Samuel on the edge or in space, and also throwing the ball enough to keep the defense honest. If it's the same gameplan as last week, the Buckeyes will not be putting many points on the board. JT running the football is definitely a key to the offense, but he's much more effective when it isn't forced or when the defense must respect the other weapons that the offense has.

Also, there are basically two WRs that I think should be on the field most of the time and they are Noah Brown and KJ Hill. Dontre can also make plays when he's healhty (and hopefully he is this week), but Parris Campbell can stick to returning kicks.

I like Birm's work and I get what he's doing here, saying we should appreciate him while he's here...but who in the world is thinking JT should be going pro after this year?!?! Is it the same people that told Tyvis and Jaylin last year to leave early and be undrafted? Yes they made a team, but I bet they didn't think they'd be undrafted free-agents.

How in the world is Hooker not a Thorpe finalist?!?
