If he actually gambled, he'd have gone broke a long time ago (see his 2 outta 10 predictions from the Oct. 10 games)

His success has come on the edge with the come back bubble pass or slants from the slot. Making him into a legit deeper threat is possible but doesn't seem to be in the works.
this has always been the case

Oh now We're pretending we are a lawyer? You worthless dickweed...who would ever believe someone of your limited capacity could possibly pass a bar.

And in b4 one of you dillfuks says "tearman never passes a bar" har har har
  • lhslep134
Tearnan's only response is that I'm "not a lawyer"?

I guarantee you the Urban's first, second and third priorities are to win football games and titles at Ohio State he isn't sacrificing any efficiency just to help guys get into the NFL. I truly believe he thought the Off could operate as well as last year under Cardale but the lack of legit WRs hurt that from happening.
I agree that there is no way Meyer plays Cardale as a favor. He probably (as did many)thought Cardale would continue to produce like he did last year. Were Evan Spencer and Devin Smith that great? They were good no doubt, but I thought we would be ok.

    Numbers for Braxton

    Virginia Tech
    5 carries, 61 yards, 1 td
    3 catches, 79 yards, 1 td

    Hawaii
    8 carries, 57 yards
    2 catches, 16 yards

    NIU
    4 carries, 7 yards

    Western Michigan
    4 carries, 11 yards
    2 catches, 27 yards

    Indiana
    1 carry, 14 yards
    1 catch, -9 yards

    Maryland
    3 carries, 11 yards
    5 catches, 79 yards, 1 td

    Psu
    4 carries, 30 yards
    4 catches, 33 yards, 1 td

After Virginia Tech, I certainly expected many 100+ yard, multi touchdown games.

Statistically he has been, but you can't say that HE has been due to how so much can be attributed to other things.

RUNNING: Well, if you line up in a wildcat-like formation AND you get the ball virtually every time you do so AND you run out of that every time because you either can't pass it or, for whatever reason, aren't choosing to do so, you are beyond predictable. Defenses know that if they see a certain look, to go after Miller first and foremost. Against VT, it wasn't predictable due to no one knowing what he could/would do. Since then, with film, teams are noticing that what he does remains the same time after time.

RECEIVING: Kind of goes back to the QB situation. Receivers need a guy to consistently get it to them and in situations where they can succeed. He's a first-year receiver whose been dealing with erratic QB play. Kind of hard to get good numbers in that situation.

My personal opinion would be to cut back on the predictable running stuff unless/until he is capable of at least providing the scare of a potential pass to make it more effective. And passing-wise, with the supposedly more accurate short-range guy taking the helm now, I'd be looking for quick slants to him with the hope he can break free and get to the open field.

I'm still hoping he launches the ball 80 yards for a touchdown in a game when we need it. I still fear he isn't throwing it because he can't, but wouldn't that be lovely against msu or Michigan if they've been holding him back?
  • Tiernan
Maybe Urbie is playing the Long Con with Braxton?

There is no Fkg way ihslep is an attorney at least not in the United States.

I'm really surprised we haven't seen Braxton throw it one time. It's way too predictable as he never throws the pitch on the option either. They need to put this on film so that defenses can't just stack the box and focus on him entirely.

This leads me to believe that Urban is showing this for a reason and that a big time play is being set up for when we need it.

I'd offer to draft your will tearnan, but it would be a waste of time for someone with less than $500 in assets like you.
  • Tiernan
Did you get the Clarence Darrow starter kit as a child? ....oh just go look it up dumbass.
  • lhslep134
Tearnan I don't defend DUI's and you're too poor for me to draft a will. I'm sorry that my legal services are of no use to you. Please don't kill yourself.
