No. Zeek is the best college football player and hence the best RB in college football. There is no doubt.

I've changed my tune. I want JT full time now. He's runs the read option like a boss and with the personnel we have, that's where the offense shines. Love Jones, but fuck it. The traditional drop back style isn't getting it done. I don't want anymore rotating moving forward. Start JT.

All these backs are really good but Zeke and Fournette are much better than Cook and Henry (SEC Fan?)

Without a legit deep threat WR (Thomas is still developing) the starter has to be Barrett. Urbie and I will be talking later today and I'll make sure he goes with this format.

A friend mentioned their is talk of Gibson leaving the team?

Not happy with playing time, walked out of practice the other day, and wasn't dressed Saturday. If that's the case....2 fingers.

Read today that academic 'troubles' kept him from dressing on Saturday.

Yup. I agree with the last sentence. Just redshirt him.

    Gibson will be redshirted.

JT will probably be the new starter. The offense seems to run a little smoother with JT taking snaps rather than Cardale.

I still think Cardale is the better QB but JT seems to fit the current system better.

What makes you think Dale is the better qb? He graded out at -2.3 on Saturday and Hackenburg who we'd all agree is garbage graded at -2.5. He can't take the pressure of having someone standing behind him better and it's obvious.

Better in terms of the NFL? Yes, I agree, but not for this team. I was all about Cardale being the guy, but he doesn't have the brains or the ball handling ability to run the read option like Barrett.

During yesterday, everything seemed more smooth with Barrett running the offense. He just needs the confidence to air it out a bit more like he was last year, as I don't know if the "between me and Zeke, one of us is running the ball!" plan will work against everyone like it did Saturday.
  • Tiernan
Urbie said its a done deal, as for Cam Williams - he's still in there.

He had a bad game. It happens.

I wouldn't say someone's a future HOFer if he has one great game so I probably wouldn't post what you posted after he's had a bad one.

I would be okay with JT starting mainly because he does seem to fit this offense better than Cardale. But Cardale is by no means "bad" or "bad because he has someone behind him and he can't take the pressure."

That's a perfect example of fans trying to make drama out of nothing. From day one of this so-called "QB battle" both have been all class when asked to discuss the topic.

I agree here. Psu has a pretty good defense, so maybe I'm wrong, but I don't know if 30 yards passing is enough from our qb. (And JT did have a monster year last year so I won't be shocked if he can do it again.)

Both QBs have been nothing but class. I'm curious to see Cardale's attitude if JT is named the starter but JT handled it very well.

Gtfo with all this Cardale is better crap. Barrett will be a better NFL QB because he has something called touch. Cardale just tries to beam the ball in every single time

At least he's consistent....consistently full of shit.

Calvin Johnson, current best receiver in the NFL.
