    Carolina gets all the calls.

    Gotta make these.

VCU literally scored like six points in 18 seconds. It was a great sequence. SF Austin is in deep shit.

All off steals of in-bounds passes and then layups created from their havoc pressure.

    How long before Shaka leaves?

3-4 years and he will take over for Roy. Book it : thumbup:

SFA was my cinderella this year. I had them going deep.

The full court press is confusing the shit out of them.
  • Mohican00
9 points in the 2nd half so far for SFA
  • Ironman92
I've not enjoyed hardly a damn thing in this tournament.

I like this Virginia team so I'll jinx the fuck out of them.

    Soooo....

Cincy was hit with a scorebook T yesterday.

And now K State has been hit with a pregame dunking T.

Stupid, stupid rule. But it was 100% correctly administered.

You can't touch the rim in warmups. Anyone who has EVER played basketball knows this. I don't give 2 shits that it was a walk on who never plays.

These referees need to just ref the fucking game and stop having such an intervening presence.

Refs are there to enforce the rules, correct?
  • reclegend22
I don't say that because of the dunking tech, but just in general. The Tim Miles tech that got him ejected was just ridiculous. It was the officials' fault he was on the floor in the first place. Do your damn job and Miles wouldn't have to help do it for you.

Really need this VCU win. There were ton of SF Austin picks in my pool.

Soooo could UVA be a part of the 2 biggest upsets in NCAA history?

So many great games thus far....Staggering the starts (not sure when they did this) was such a brilliant move. I remember when 4 games would be finishing at about the same time, and it was a nightmare. To make it worse, usually you could only watch 2 of the 4 games live.

Plus, thanks to the internet you can watch one on tv and the other 3 on laptops/tablets.

    Wouldn't be the first time a 1 starts slow against a 16.

SFA is going to be my first sweet sixteen loss (as well as my first elite 8 loss).

Pretty sure a VCU win and UK win puts me in a tie for first in my pool. But things could get ugly in a hurry this weekend.

Every year I encourage my buddy (who runs it) to at least award a bonus point for each lower seed picked correctly, as that type of system works to reward actual knowledge (or at least creativity). That injects some more fun into the bracket contest IMO and also helps keep chalk pickers from having as likely a chance to stay around.
It gets pretty crazy after the first weekend going thru scenarios you need to finish in the money. You end-up rooting like crazy for your 6 seed to roll a bit while rooting against someone else's 5 seed because it's a huge point swing.
