Hey rec, you starting to go through withdrawals yet? lol
  • gut
not sure even KY can pull this out!
  • Midstate01
That rebound will probably do it.
  • reclegend22
What a save there. UConn better finish the fucking job.

Lol. Yeah. I won't have anything to post about but the missing plane.
  • Terry_Tate
Wow, can't believe Kentucky never took the lead. Trailed by 1 point 3 different times but could never take the lead. Credit to UConn for holding strong
  • SportsAndLady
    Lol wtf is Kentucky doing
  • vball10set
    Cal being out coached here.
  • Laley23
Not fouling there...when will coaches learn?
  • gut
UConn really deserved to win that game.

And I don't shed any tears for KY, but I wouldn't have minded seeing them cap one of the toughest roads to a title in history.
  • reclegend22
Kentucky is denied a title. That makes it one of the great games as far as I'm concerned.
  • Mulva
Crazy. From OT against St Joes to national champs.
  • GOONx19
Fuck. Good game shabazz. Go cats. Hopefully a few come back.

    Ha ha!

Down 4 and not fouling immediately letting them drain it to 25....nice

Great job by the UConn players and Kevin Ollie.....screw Jim Calhoun and good for you Failapari.
  • gut
And to think UConn almost lost to St. Joe's in R1

Do you really think it would have mattered? UConn has been ridiculous from the FT line.

    All of that.

Kevin Ollie is the new kid on the block. What a way to begin a career at your alma-mater. Dude just hit the fucking lotto.

Fuck off rec. Coach K is a fucking rat. Duke recruits itself and he is no better a coach then shitty ass Cal.

I'll let sportswizhurd make the final call, but this run tonight solidifies my belief that Napier > Kemba. Not the improbability of the run, but the sheer greatness of Napier. He wasn't perfect tonight, but over the course of the year, I'm not sure I've ever been more impressed by a player. Napier is just a straight-up, cold-blooded winner.

Yes. Extend the game. You always foul the last minute to 2 minutes depending on how much your down. Extend the game, possibly force TOs. Try to get the ball to someone who might miss.

Even if they get a stop there, they still only have 2 possessions to get it done with about 20 seconds on the clock. The odds are almost always a L in that case. Foul, get 10-15 more possessions, and see what happens.

Too drunk to edit. I respect K and obviously he's a good coach. Just not happy with the result. UConn played a great game, at least the guards.
