wildcats20Nothing to do with the game...
But the shirt that WCS is wearing under his jersey, retails for $145 by Ralph Lauren.
So do we REALLY feel the need to pay this kids MORE money?? GTFO. -
SportsAndLadyBit off topic but digger phelps is retiring. Probably a good thing, he was lousy.

Off the top of my head, I think you'd have to look at Greg Marshall and Shaka Smart as two pretty viable candidates. Billy Donovan isn't coming, so I think all of the current "big names" of college basketball can be ruled out. No way that Sean Miller abandons Arizona with as close as he is to returning the Wildcats to glory.Midstate01;1602292 wrote:OK so now that it's halftime. Don't hate me, but maybe Thad Matta? -

Yet Cal's program is cleanwildcats20;1602298 wrote:Nothing to do with the game...

Yeah the last couple years for sure. He is also dealing with prostate(?) cancer also.SportsAndLady;1602299 wrote:Bit off topic but digger phelps is retiring. Probably a good thing, he was lousy. -

My first thought was Sean miller. But I have no idea how much he really likes Arizona, maybe he's happy there.reclegend22;1602300 wrote:Off the top of my head, I think you'd have to look at Greg Marshall and Shaka Smart as two pretty viable candidates. vball10setNapier best player on the floor. Period.

gutKY should really try guarding that Napier kid

I mean, Miller doesn't really have any attachments to Arizona other than being the coach there now, so I suppose he'd at least be interested in a UK offer. But Arizona is a top six coaching position IMO and he is quickly rebuilding the program into the power it was under Olson, and at Arizona the fans are passionate but reasonable. UK takes a special individual.SportsAndLady;1602304 wrote:My first thought was Sean miller. But I have no idea how much he really likes Arizona, maybe he's happy there.
It'll be interesting, for sure. -

That was my first thought, too. Thad makes a lot of sense. Stevens would also obviously be high on the list, but I don't see that one happening.reclegend22;1602300 wrote:Off the top of my head, I think you'd have to look at Greg Marshall and Shaka Smart as two pretty viable candidates. With as great a recruiter and as close to winning it all as Matta has been at Ohio State -- a great basketball program but always a football school first -- just imagine what he could do with the Kentucky name on his shirt in a recruit's home. With the position, though, comes tremendous pressure to live up to the expectations of a largely absurd fan-base.Mulva;1602313 wrote:That was my first thought, too. Thad makes a lot of sense. As for Brad Stevens, I'm sure they'd reach out to him but Kentucky is not the Celtics, no matter what its fans think. I think Stevens will give the NBA more than just a year, especially since they are in prime position to land a potential star in the draft. -
Midstate01One thing maybe that wouldn't be appealing to Thad would be that UK plays in a lot of the preseason tourneys or classics. He doesn't like to travel a lot because of his foot.

Lol such a Thad thingMidstate01;1602316 wrote:He doesn't like to travel a lot because of his foot. -

I mean it's true. He has some serious problems with it. He stays off of it as much as he can and has said traveling is when it flares up the most.SportsAndLady;1602318 wrote:Lol such a Thad thing -
Midstate01Uconn looks tired to me.

Midstate01That's an unbelievably bad bad call
-
wildcats20Terrible call.
-
reclegend22The Huskies do look tired. Fuck.
If there is a God out there, hopefully he will not let UConn lose this fucking game. -
gutKY hanging around....again
-
wildcats20I think that is the first shot I've seen Giffey make in the FF.
-
reclegend22I just can't wait for this game to be over so Cal can walk out the door.
