tOSU vs. USNA

Ok...,we should have the win. Let's get a defensive stop (preferably a turnover) and move on to the next game

Oh look, one call going our way makes a big difference in a close game.

I like what we're seeing on th ground as far as our stable of backs.

A "W" is a "W" but if the Buckeye defense is this year's "strength" I think Ohio State has a lot of work to do.

Agree completely....I was just saying OSU did enough to win the game of inches, as Navy has done multiple times and the refs have called it fairly. I love the Buckeyes but some on here are too biased to give Navy or even the refs the necessary credit.

    Good defense there....watch the fake

It'll be interesting to see how Navy does the rest of the season. Clearly they have a decent running game.

Anyone else feeling like a Browns fan and thinking about next season already?

9-4 last year? Won last 5 including bowl game and QB is a leader.

I hope they find a way to be ranked at season's end.

Barrett runs just good enough to provide for the offense but not good enough to give him major chances during big moments throughout the game.

I think that is a positive

17 point win at a top 30-40 team....good enough to not affect in the long run

JT was very solid today. One bad mistake. But overall I'm pleased with his play.

    agreed

Pretty good start considering he hasn't seen live game action since his season ending injury in high school. No issues with his first game out.

Defense needs work....and I thought that's where Ohio State was supposed to shine this year??

I'm pretty excited about the running game.

Curtis Samuel was a beast today. Looked the best of the group.

OSU wins and covers the spread. Pretty good effort against a pretty good team on the road.

    ^^^

Depends on when bet was placed. They opened at 17.5.

Still basically covered the spread but will drop in the polls nonetheless. IMHO probably rightfully so. Don't think Ohio State is a Top 10 team...yet.

Barrett will be better after seeing some film on decisions made today - nobody thought he was gonna light it up today. I'm more concerned by the pitiful run defense.
  • Tiernan
God does anybody piss you off more by just looking at them than Lane Kiffin?

Just got home from the game. Was awesome. OSU took over Baltimore. Stadium was probably 60% OSU. Crowd was great for most of the game.
Hell of a game by Navy though. Figured it would be close, and didn't expect that much struggle by the OSU defense.
Barret looked better as the game went on. Looks like he was able to get better reads and options.
It looked like from my view he was only going to 1 option in the 1st half and was really telegraphing his plays.

The RBs are sick. Love the rotation with all four of them. And, love the way they are using Wilson even more now. Def. more of a factor in the offense.

Still a long way to go for the offense, and really the defense. Man, the LBs have got to play better.
But, they they won and covered the 16.5 and 13.

Well you don't have to enlist nor eat crow according to the score. But it was no blowout, so you were way off there.

OSU covered the spread, so Navy actually performed worse than the general public thought they would. Maybe not a "blowout" in the typical sense of the word, but certainly not any type of success for the Navy program.

I thought they played pretty well with a new QB and rebuilt line... Got better as the game went on.
  • SportsAndLady
Had OSU -15.5 so I was happy
