Kenny G throws 5 INTs against that defense last night.

LOL! That defense wasn't good. If Braxton was as good as you think he is, he would be declaring for the draft right now.

Read on Bucknuts this morning that he said the pain only occurred on Runs, he could throw 100%.

And to your batted down point, some of it was on the O-line, but most of it was on his eyes. He was staring down his receivers all night. I don't see how that can be denied, everybody around me noticed it. If his first read isn't on, and he cant run (last night because he was hurt), he is not good.

But anyways, this argument is going in circles. What I hope happens is that he makes a big stride in his reading of D's and touch on his passes and next year we can all agree that hes the best in the country! In the end, all we want is OSU to win games. I hope he wins a bowl game in his final season because going 0-3 would make him as overrated as SE-alum thinks.

I don't think it's 5, but I agree that he would've played a lot worse than Braxton, because he's not as big a threat to run as Braxton is, not to mention he doesn't have enough zip on his ball.

If we could combine Kennys lack of Zip, and Braxtons lack of touch, we'd have the greatest QB in history.

How good do I think he is? I believe I have said he is not NFL ready.

You don't know what you're talking about, but keep acting like you do.
“I think it just affected my running,” Miller said. “Throwing wise it was cool.”

KG's only pass was a floater to The flat that was batted down with absolute ease.

link? He said last night the pain in his throwing shoulder was a 9.5/10 and he was stretching his throwing arm after every single pass.

he stared down 1 pass badly. The other batted balls were on the o-line. Another they had a spy that got low behind the lineman and got up when he released the ball.

I thought I saw him stare down receivers a handful of time. Could have been a mixture of both. But the link to what I was saying is above.

And Braxton threw 2 picks with that rocket arm. The TD pass to Heuerman was a terrible throw. He threw the ball 5 yards short to a wide open Philly Brown missing a TD. Threw a terrible lollipop to Hyde for the TD. Missed behind several receivers. If you have timing and touch, you don't need great arm strength.

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. -- Ohio State junior quarterback Braxton Miller hurt his right throwing shoulder on the fifth play of Friday night's 40-35 loss to Clemson in the Orange Bowl when he was sacked by Clemson defensive end Vic Beasley. Miller said he played the rest of the game with pain that was a “nine-and-a-half” on a scale of one to 10.
His actions on the field showed otherwise that it didn't affect his throwing. After every pass he would move his arm around while wincing.

It's extremely hard to bat down a ball if the QB isn't staring down his receiver.

Yeah, We were lucky that Heurman was faster than the Clemson safety because Miller put so much loft on the ball that Jeff had to literally stop running.

The way I look at it, Braxton had 2 chances to be a hero last night and failed both times. Whether it was because of injury, his inability to be a good passer, or a mixture of both, he didn't do what a QB has to do to win the game with 2 good chances. I hope next year he improves and delivers us a big win. If not, i'll be waiting again for the JT Barrett regime to begin.

You're probably right, and the guy that was actually hurt is probably wrong.

ANY pass that is low (aka not down field) has to get to the receiver before the db can react. If the pass is a slow floater when trying to fit it in somewhere, its going to at best get batted down by an athletic D. Just like Clemson did.

Barrett will get plenty of chances next year when Braxton gets hurt. It'll be exciting to see what he can do. Coaches have been raving about him since he got to campus.

No its not when its slow and floating, just like KG's 2pt attempt.

LOL. Yeah because he is gonna come out and say "yeah that really fuxked up my throwing. It was obvious with the way I was wincing and checking my shoulder every pass"

Bottom line is that the defense lost that game last night.

I'm talking about balls getting batted down at the line. Clemson was knocking it down because it was easy to see where Braxton was going with the ball.

OB1 I know it's hard to believe but for once I agree with you. Braxton has on occasion shown incredible athleticism and potential but after 3 seasons I'm sick of "potential", I want "results" and the results seem few and far between if the measurement is dominating complete package quarterbacking. I find myself "hoping" instead of "believing" Miller will achieve in critical must-have situations. Lets move on with whatever or whoever is next up.

I despise Matt Millen, but he was right when he said Miller might be the best RB in the country.

KG's 2pt attempt actually wasn't a floater. It was a good throw (speed wise), just forced with a defender in place.
