Congrats. Draft completed. Front page updated. If everyone could, please update your team in the roster thread. Season starts next Friday as that is the first real game for any team. To allow everyone to play at least one game, the week will last from Friday though the following Sunday.

Gonzaga big man? I did. I couldn't decide between him and Dower and then said the hell with them both.

Jabari Bird of California was the Freshman I think will have a huge year.

I'm also surprised Yogi Ferrell didn't get drafted.

Yanick Moreira of SMU, as I predicted in the other thread somewhere, will be the best Freshman big man in the country. If my WC pick wasn't a center, I would've drafted him.

Sean Armand of Iona is another wild card who took a backseat to MoMo Jones last year. He will definitely be 20 PPG or more and Iona is usually in the top 10% of the country in scoring.

Bird was the guy I thought AZ meant. I almost took him in RD11. I think he might get 19ppg

Yeah I had the dude S&L as my number 1 then I noticed they also had Dower so wanted to stay away from them. I really liked the did I got thoug but I did find it funny that 3 players from UAB were drafted.

I was surprised Yogi didn't get taken as well. By the time I thought to take him all I needed were centers and my WC.

Agreed. Could turn out some great value at pick 12 for you.

Yogi should have a big year, but I think Vonleh can average close to 9 boards a game. He's a beast in the boards. If he just gets me pedestrian blocks, steals and assists along with like 8-12 points I'll be really happy.

Because I had him, I didn't want Yogi. Told myself to not go with teammates unless it was a no brainer...

I really liked your UAB center...I saw his stats after you picked him and said 'fuck' to myself

That's pretty damn good for a 12th round center
  • Laley23
Surprised no one took Gene Teague as their 2nd C.

There was at least 6 guys, that were at least 6 fantasy points better than him still available

I didn't say fuck because the UAB guy was the best available..I said it because my guy averaged 5 points a game last year lol

Lol. At least you got Brown. He should be good for 15 and 7, plus assists and blocks

Before I took Jordan Loveridge, the risk I was considering was his teammate, Delon Wright. Hopefully he doesn't blow up.

Yeah but your guy had 2 dudes ahead of him for post scoring who are now gone. The 3 centers taken before me were all guys I had on my list but I really didn't look that hard for centers once the best ones were gone.

    Wish Rodney Hood's exhibition game would've counted…21/9/4

    He's gonna be goooood

This was the center I was talking about about ten pages ago. Guy's line last year was like 12, 8 and 2, and Seton Hall is going to be very good this year with Edwin running the show. My last center was between Teague and Obepka.

He looked nice, didn't he? Best small forward at Duke since Mike Dunleavy, in my opinion. Cannot wait for Friday.

Just looks so smooth. Makes it look easy at times.

I'll have to check my list at work for Teague. I'm hoping I didn't forget about him on my list I put on my phone haha. Cause 12, 8, and 2 is better than both the guys I drafted lawl.

Also surprised nobody picked up T.J. McConnell, of Arizona. He's a transfer, but put up 30 PPG (our game) in his last full season at Duquesne. He's going to be the lynchpin in the Arizona offense. The first classic point guard Point Guard U has had since Mustafa Shakur or maybe even Jason Gardner. He'll be a big improvement over the shoot-first Mark Lyons.

    McConnell went in round 4.

Oh. Haha. That makes much more sense. Must have missed his name.
