Meyer using coach speak and saying Roby will have to practice his way back into the starting lineup...lol! Hopefully OSU will open up the playbook a little more both offensively and defensively.

Haha, exactly, if Roby can't crack the starting line up he's not getting drafted.

I could see Meyer making a point and not starting him Saturday but giving him most of the reps

I wonder if Taylor Decker will be feeling any heat, or is his spot safe?

After moving Farris over to DL, I can't imagine anyone is pushing him too hard.

I'm not sure who was worse, Reeves or Decker. Both guys were atrocious

    Yup.

Decker wasn't that awful. He didn't give up a negative play till Linsley left the game and Boren came in and started making the line calls.

Line calls doesnt have much to do with getting dominated 1 on 1 multiple times.

By Khalil Mack who dominated mewhort and heurman 1 on 1. It was never called to have a rb or te so much as chip on the right side.

Let's also not forget he is a true soph making his first start. There aren't many tackles out there that could handle Mack 1 on 1.

Decker will be fine. Mack is the best player he will face all year.

That is probably true but his feet are really slow and he allowed a player 75lbs. lighter than him to bull rush him on more than one occasion. I think that his struggles will continue well into the season especially after scouting that game opposing rush LBs will be drooling to lineup over Decker. This unfortunately is the only way that he will get better (growing pains) by mid to late season he should be alright.

Mack bull rushed through Mewhort as well. The coaching staff also treated the game like a scrimmage in the fact that they left Decker all on his own the whole game. In games where it would be an issue, they will offer help with a chipping TE or RB

OSU -28. I think they cover this week.

Yea, that's the other thing. The game plan was very vanilla, really no different than what we saw last year. We probably won't really see the offense open up until the Cal game.

Everybody acting like they knew who Mack was before the game ;)

I did, but I was in buffalo 2 weekends ago and my wife is a UB alum. Mack is literally the best thing going athletically in the city of Buffalo and the media is just covering him like crazy. He was the headline story in the Buffalo news 2 Saturdays ago

Well, he has been touted as one of the top LB picks in next years draft, since this years draft.

I only knew who he was because I've been reading elevenwarriors frequently as of late.
  • Automatik
I didn't know a thing about him until they brought up McShay to discuss his NFL potential.

3:30 kick Saturday. I have no internet or cable until next week. Fuck. Bar it is I guess!

I don't think they show games there. I need sound bro!
  • Tiernan
Ahhh you're good...just wanted to see if you really do live in NYC. McSorley's will never have TVs or juke box according to the owners.
