San Diego State @ Ohio State - 3:30pm ABC

I'll be in my regular seat in 10-A anyway Auto but there's gotta be a Buckeye Bar in Brooklyn somewhere isnt there?
  • Automatik
Only two OSU bars that I know of. Tonic in Time Square is the "official" alumni spot, but it's lame. I've only been once.

Manny's on the Upper East Side is my go to. 90th and 2nd, but a hike from my current apartment. You walk in an you think you're in Cbus. It's rowdy and awesome. It's also a Browns bar on Sundays...not nearly as fun.

I'm kinda clueless when it comes to BK, need to do some scouting.

Eh coming from an Ohio OSU/Steelers fan, I dont your opinion of what a good Browns bar is, in high regard.
  • Automatik
My Cleveland friends will agree. The atmosphere isn't the same on Sundays compared to an OSU Saturday. Not even close.
  • Tiernan
A good Browns bar is a bunch of fat guys and even fatter women sitting around drinking PBRs after the third shift at Lorain Pipe & Steel lets out and someone says "just wait'll next year boys..."

And most likely there is Polka on the juke box or worse Michael Stanley.

Manny's is the best ... been going there since 2005 (when it used to be called Blondies East), and before that -- starting in 2001 -- I would go to Blondies West (which is no longer a "Buckeye Bar" but still has a nice smattering of OSU fans). I live in Brooklyn Heights and still make the annoying trek uptown a few times as season (I used to go every Saturday but a wife and kid knocked that schedule down a bit). We have had the same center table by the upstairs bar for 8 seasons, great food and staff ... like Automatik said, for 3+ hours on Saturday, you forget you are in New York and you feel like you are in Columbus (with less fat people haha).
  • Tiernan
Fat people in Columbus are usually originally from NE Ohio. Thank god these chubbers and chubbettes typically end up at lesser schools like Kent, Akron or CSU.

Jordan Hall and Rod Smith have swapped numbers.

    Any idea why?

I think just because #2 was Hall's high school number.

Just to screw with the people who print programs.

They should keep switching numbers then.

  • Fab1b

  • Fly4Fun
Helmet popped off and a defensive players shoulder came down right on Braxton's head. Possible concussion?
  • slingshot4ever
It's a knee issue. In a lot of pain on sideline
  • Fab1b
    Hope this isn't serious!!
  • LJ
He looks really upset. Gonna be the Kenny G show for today at least
  • slingshot4ever
It looks to be...won't be surprised when they say he tore something.

Reporter said left knee. Hopefully it's nothing terrible as he did walk off the field but he did look to be in pain. Good thing we have Guiton.
  • slingshot4ever
    Saying MCL issue.

You can walk on a torn ACL with no pain. Him walking doesn't mean it isn't serious.

It does mean his knee wasn't completely demolished. But I know it doesn't mean he didn't suffer a potentially serious injury which is why I said hopefully but still said he looked to be in pain.
