what big money is on the line in a giant blow out?Azubuike24;1541669 wrote:In D-1 college football? Where big money is on the line? -
Azubuike24For instance, a team can avoid an injury by just calling a game early, giving them a W. They go on to win next week instead of lose, impacting the entire bowl structure and money dividends for all the schools.
I know I'm stretching a bit, but it's the principle. For all of the stuff that makes zero sense in the NCAA, all it takes is 2 coaching staffs to just make their own rules?
How about asking an opposing coach if an ineligible player can play in a game against them, even though the NCAA warns he might not be cleared? -

Why would a coach agree to give another team the win in a competitive game?Azubuike24;1541672 wrote:For instance, a team can avoid an injury by just calling a game early, giving them a W. Azubuike24It's the principle. In this scenario, it has little impact. That was my point.

There aren't any good losses period, but a B1G school losing to a MAC school certainly doesn't qualify.gerb131;1541661 wrote:Iowa isn't that bad. Lost to Wisconsin Ohio state northern Illinois and Sparty. Good 4 losses -

ptown_trojans_1Muschamp has got to be a very, very thing ice now.
But, as a few of my Florida friends say, even he is gone, the only real guy they can get is Charlie Strong and there is no realistic chance he leaves.
