what big money is on the line in a giant blow out?

For instance, a team can avoid an injury by just calling a game early, giving them a W. They go on to win next week instead of lose, impacting the entire bowl structure and money dividends for all the schools.

I know I'm stretching a bit, but it's the principle. For all of the stuff that makes zero sense in the NCAA, all it takes is 2 coaching staffs to just make their own rules?

How about asking an opposing coach if an ineligible player can play in a game against them, even though the NCAA warns he might not be cleared?

Why would a coach agree to give another team the win in a competitive game?

It's the principle. In this scenario, it has little impact. That was my point.

I know they're transitioning to 1-A, are they still considered 1-AA this year?

There aren't any good losses period, but a B1G school losing to a MAC school certainly doesn't qualify.

Some asshat on sports talk radio thinks Ohio State should move to the Big 12.

Georgia Southern hangs on to beat Florida in the Swamp. Muschamp will be fired at the end of the season.
  • ptown_trojans_1
Muschamp has got to be a very, very thing ice now.
But, as a few of my Florida friends say, even he is gone, the only real guy they can get is Charlie Strong and there is no realistic chance he leaves.
