reclegend22What is the likelihood of Deshaun Thomas going pro? If Thomas comes back, the Buckeyes will be in the conversation for top three in America next year. -Concerned fan lol
Other early favorites in that conversation, depending on who gets who and who leaves early for the draft, are Kentucky, Duke, North Carolina, Indiana and, dare I say it, UNLV -- that is ONLY if they fire the inexperienced Dave Rice, which will never happen, and if Anthony Bennett returns, and that is very unlikely. You have to add Oklahoma State as well if both Nash and Smart don't jump and Michigan if Burke returns. Who else? -

I think all of those guys are locks to go pro. Thomas, from what every OSU fan on here says, is going pro. Bennett, no way he comes back to Vegas. Smart is the #1 player in the draft next year potentially, he's gone. Nash isn't going to stay another year, and def won't stay if Smart goes. I don't know much about Burke's chances, but I don't see how he'd come back, he's a top 10 pick.reclegend22;1414634 wrote:What is the likelihood of Deshaun Thomas going pro? vball10set^^^yeah, Thomas for sure, and not only do I think Burke will go pro, but Hardaway too...and maybe even GRIII

Well, the conversation is reducing dramatically. Not sure how I missed Smart's name at the top of the draft board lol. I looked at it really closely too and knew he was there anyway but just forgot.SportsAndLady;1414637 wrote:I think all of those guys are locks to go pro. I'm hoping with the weak draft that North Carolina gets ravished and that McAdoo leaves especially. A weak draft could also potentially mean that Rasheed Sulaimon decides to jump, which would be devastating for Duke. Parker is great, but Sulaimon could be the best overall player on the team next season. -

I don't think GRIII goes, but I also wouldn't be surprised. He didn't have a great year, and has plenty to improve. But he has an NBA body, and would get drafted decent just on that I think.vball10set;1414642 wrote:^^^yeah, Thomas for sure, and not only do I think Burke will go pro, but Hardaway too...and maybe even GRIII -

Kind of my thought process as well. Selfishly, I hope the entire starting five goes!!! lolWebFire;1414709 wrote:I don't think GRIII goes, but I also wouldn't be surprised. On the flipside, I think Hardaway will go, but wouldn't be surprised if he stayed. If he stays, he will be the man next year with Burke gone, and he still has a lot to improve on as well.
But his draft status may determine that the above doesn't matter. -
thavoiceWas no where near a tv or radio for the whole weekend so I didnt watch/listen to any games. Guy told me sunday afternoon around 5 or so that IU had lost.
I was F'N pissed.
Wasnt close to midnight that I found out the truth so I went 7 hours thinking they lost. He said it was on honest mistake tho that he had heard an earlier score with a few min to go and thought that was a final.
WIll look at my brackets tonite and see how I did...heard there were alot of upsets so we will see!! -

Ft Knox shooting, rucking and wondering around the woods in the rain, snow and sleet on sunday! -
reclegend22
Ah. That sounds really not fun at all lol, because I would get killed if I wandered into the woods. Haha.thavoice;1414761 wrote:Ha. Not really.

My brother-in-law would have died and gone to heaven as soon as he got there. He is a huge outdoorsman. Sounds interesting. -

It was a good 4 day event, weather was good all except for sunday. There is a fine line between something sucking real bad and being so bad that it becomes awesome that were doing it, and it was the latter.reclegend22;1414781 wrote:Ah. but anyways.......Zags who were what we thought they were it seems! Most champions have a game that they probably shoulda lost . I knw IU as down by 15 or so to auburn in 1987 early in the game and won by 17 -
Midstate01I thought thomas was a lock to go pro. But there are rumors starting to come out that he may be coming back.
I still very seriously doubt he returns -
Cleveland Buck
He might as well come back. I don't think he has a position in the NBA. He isn't big enough to play the 4, but he is too slow and doesn't have the handle to play the 3. No matter what he does I doubt he would be a high first round pick this year or next.Midstate01;1414816 wrote:I thought thomas was a lock to go pro. wildcats20So the Naismith finalists were announced.

I'd give it to either Burke or Oladipo.wildcats20;1414837 wrote:So the Naismith finalists were announced.

He'll be back. If he leaves, late 1st round draft pick at best.Midstate01;1414816 wrote:I thought thomas was a lock to go pro. But there are rumors starting to come out that he may be coming back.

Same here.
And I think it might come down to who wins this weekend, that is if only one team advances. -

I'd be surprised if at least 2 of the 4 remaining B1G teams don't make the final 4. I think Indiana, MSU, and OSU are virtual locks for the Final 4 at this point. If Michigan beats Kansas, you can lock them in too. :thumbup:wildcats20;1414840 wrote:Same here.

I may be wrong but I always thought it was already decided but they put out the finalists and then reveal the winner soon, but I could be wrong.wildcats20;1414840 wrote:Same here.

Laley23Voting is done already. Just isn't announced until the final four. It was due the Monday after selection Sunday.
As for Thomas, the main reason I think he goes is that he needs money. Had a horrible upbringing (horrible is probably too strong, but it was not privileged and it was fatherless.). Plus, he has a kid of his own to feed -

I think that's what we all think. But apparently hes told some people his draft prospects arent where he wants them and so may go back to school. Ill believe it when he says it because I think hes gone -
