craft was straight nasty on that shot

Iowa State called timeout immediately after the shot. Players are always on the floor during a timeout.

lol what if Iowa State would have in bounded it and it hits that guy?

Barkley playing the "what if" game.

I love Barkley but he needs to shut the fuck up.

    No they didn't.

Yeah I was gonna say, technically it was during a timeout that he ran onto the floor

Yeah they did. You didn't see the shot they showed of the ISU coach calling timeout as the ball went through the hoop?

He was on the floor before the refs blew the play dead to review it. Iowa State didn't call TO.

You are playing the what if game now. You don't make that call unless it actually interferes with something.
  • Azubuike24
They didn't immediately call a timeout. The ball was set to be inbounded, the refs then stopped the clock.

Of course, they aren't going to call the T, but by the book, it was a violation. I mean, it's no different than leaving the bench during an altercation, and in that circumstance, it's a dead ball. This wasn't. Leave the bench during an altercation and it's a suspension (along with a technical assessed).

Yeah they did. They showed a clear video of him calling timeout

But they didn't give him a TO.

It's a moot point. Regardless of rooting interest, the last we want as basketball fans is ticky tack stuff like that being enforced. There is already enough ref BS anyway.

They showed the replay of Hoiberg on the floor calling timeout.

Fuck this timeout talk 1/2 of this thread today. It was a phenomenal game with a climatic ending.

Enjoy the great day of basketball folks. Yesterday sucked.
  • LJ
The ISU players were all looking towards the bench and walking that way. It's pretty fucking clear they were calling timeout.

I mean that's not ticky tack. If ISU grabs the ball and inbounds it right away, the dude is on the floor. ISU paused, then they blew it dead.

Ref had already blown whistle to review a 2 or 3. He was def on the floor early but not far before he blew whistle. Regardless its a wtf moment

You both are missing the point.

They didn't grant him a TO. Regardless of what he was asking for. The refs blew the play dead for the review. You can call for a timeout all you want, but it has to be granted. They didn't grant him a TO.

If ISU was going to inbound the ball he wouldn't have been on the floor. They were all going back to their bench.

Charles Barkley is straight trolling right now haha. There's no way he actually believes the stuff he is saying right now.

    Is that you Charles?

I love Barkley crying about the charge Craft took, but there were several bad calls that gave Iowa State points as well.
  • Tiernan
FU Barkley you fat thugger...Craft just became a Buckeye legend if he wasn't already one. Kid can get laid anywhere on campus tonite!

A timeout was called immediately after the shot hit. Otherwise the clock wouldn't have stopped. Players can be on the court during a timeout.

Bitter much? You lost to Robert Morris.
