No headbands.
No tattoos.
No forearm sleeves.
No high socks.
No dreads.
No facial hair.
Haha. All of these were rules on my team in high school. -

As I said before. He might be the least knowledgeable guy on there other than possibly Bruce Pearl. Jay Williams was bad before, but he has actually put in work and does research now.Classyposter58;1407473 wrote::laugh: he always does. I love Doug, especially with his cupcake and Marshall Mathers Henderson
From this week alone that I have heard from Doug:
-"IU with a chance to win the season series with Illinois" (IU only played 1 time before that game and lost)
-"Duke has a great resume. Havent lost to a team who will miss NCAAs" (Then proceeded to say Virginia and Maryland wont make it as at-larges)
-"Kansas and Kansas St for the rubber match in the Big 12 (no...Kansas had won both meetings)
-"Gonzaga is a lock for a #1. No bad losses and won all their marquee games (I guess @ Butler for College Gameday isnt a Marquee game for the Zags).
I could try to find more, but those stick out...
Guy is a total hack who doesnt do his homework. He is spoodfeed the "numbers" he uses to try to make an argument without looking at anything else regarding the teams he talks about. He doesnt put effort into anything he does as an analyst. -
Ironman92Mulva;1407478 wrote:No. Why would that make any difference? It's hair. It doesn't impact anything about his or the team's level of play.
Then why doesn't every team have a guy that stands out due to something stupid that they've purposely had done? No codes? Be ridiculous in the NBA....represent your school in college.
I'm sure the blue mohawk has some meaning to it, but it just screams look at me look at me. -

But he was owning Davis in their argument at half -

What's funny about this is that Gottlieb was trying to shut down Seth Davis for believing that Gonzaga deserves a one seed by telling Davis that Gonzaga hasn't played anybody, and yet, according to Laley's post above, previously Gottlieb had made the argument that Gonzaga was a lock for a one seed by winning all of their "marquee games."Ironman92;1407489 wrote:But he was owning Davis in their argument at half

Yeah but Davis was arguing that Gonzaga was undefeated in their league in the regular season....then Doug said so was Norfolk St...what if Gonzaga was in the Big 10? Davis answered they have the opportunities to play better teams and would get them at their place. Gottleib said....how'd that work with Illinois? Lol -
Pick6What time are they releasing the brackets?

Fly4FunBarkley is clueless when it comes to college basketball.
-
vball10set
Charles Barkley is a moron. He's funny as hell, but he's a moron.
-
NilesPacManHe's taken a quick look at the RPI, seen that the MWC is the best rated conference according to that and ran with it.
-
Ironman92Barkley just made everyone sound smart. Good God. My wife could've spoken in a more intelligent manner about current college basketball.

That guy and denard have to be tight. -
Azubuike24Richard Pitino's idea...Florida International's new home court designs for next season.
-
reclegend22Drawing some Boise State-like attention to the program with the unique court designs can't hurt. It's Florida International. You do what yo gotta do because nobody cares about you.
It'll be intriguing to see if Richard Pitino can eventually reach the big time. -

I get that Turner is involved with the broadcasts now, but can't we just use CBS guys in the studio like they do for the games (save Marv Albert)?Fly4Fun;1407556 wrote:Barkley is clueless when it comes to college basketball. -
MulvaI actually really like that top court design. The 2nd one is too busy.

I agree -
reclegend22I think Long Beach State has the coolest court design in America. It's pretty awesome. But I like that top FIU one as well. Too bad nobody will ever see it.
