Would you want Notre Dame in the Big Ten?

  Again with the irrelevant talk?? Isn't it kind of odd that someone like yourself would spend so much time talking about something as "irrelevant" as Notre Dame? Why would the Big Ten even consider inviting Notre Dame after they declined ten years ago if they are so irrelevant. The Big Ten is looking at expansion for one reason, to make money. Notre Dame = $$$$ because to quite a few people they do have an important place in college football.

  Back in the 1920's, ND actively wanted to join the Big 10 and were denied because of their religious beliefs, plus the fact that ND's exposure and fame made the other Big 10 schools envious. Look it up.

  Irrelevant does not mean they are not talked about, Irrevelant means that year in year out, it doesn't matter what they do because they won't win anything other than a mediocre bowl game, if they choose to accept it.

  I would like to see them in the Big 10 just so Ohio State could play them every year. I think OSU would win 70-80% of those games. JMO

  Maybe the Big 10 also lives in the past..........for starters, the conference is weak yet ass whipes like yourself think they are a relevant power conference and the Big 10 keeps asking ND to join.

  Yes, the B10 would like ND in the B10 to bring in more money, viewers, and another rich tradition based school with great academics.
