Get a clue -
Crimson streakI think Thomas stays. Sully will go his stock is falling if he stays he may not even be a first rounder next year

With an outside threat that doesn't allow for the defense to collapse on him his stock rises again, and quick, so saying his stock will continue to fall is not accurate. A lot to be determined.Crimson streak;1133864 wrote:I think Thomas stays. Sully will go his stock is falling if he stays he may not even be a first rounder next year -
namod65I went around to different draft sites two days ago and Thomas wasn't projected to be drafted in any of the mock drafts. So I don't think he will be leaving.
And I hope Sully and Thomas think this through because I hope they realize what they could be next year with UNC losing everyone and UK most likely as well. They would easily be the best front court in the country and I'm still trying to think of a team that would be favored ahead of them. -

Y-Town SteelhoundI see Sullinger as having a Tyler Hansbrough like ceiling in the NBA. IMO he should stay as no matter when he comes out he'll be taken in the lottery. With that said I think he will probably go this year.
I'd be very surprised to see Thomas leave this year but could definitely see him leaving next year. -

I think Deshaun stays, still not sure about Sully.Y-Town Steelhound;1133892 wrote:I see Sullinger as having a Tyler Hansbrough like ceiling in the NBA. IMO he should stay as no matter when he comes out he'll be taken in the lottery. With that said I think he will probably go this year.

I wonder what Thad would do with the lineup if Sully did stay. Do you start Amir and put Sully at the 4? -
Y-Town Steelhound
IMO that is what they should've done from the start. Seemed like Sully plays a little better as a 4 with another big body in with him (like with Lauderdale last year). However what do you do then with Ravenel?KR1245;1133895 wrote:I think Deshaun stays, still not sure about Sully.

Same thing you do with him now, bring him off the benchY-Town Steelhound;1133897 wrote:IMO that is what they should've done from the start. Seemed like Sully plays a little better as a 4 with another big body in with him (like with Lauderdale last year). However what do you do then with Ravenel?
I would start
Amir
Sully
Thomas
Smith or Ross

ou1980Lamar Odom should give them both a call....

Laley23He goes, and he should. He will continue to look I impressive versus bigs with size. He can refine his outside game for the nba, but that's at the expense of osu as they need him down low.
Thomas I think is gone as well, but he should return. He's first rd this year, lottery next. -
Laley23
Indiana for 1, if Zeller and Watford come back. Top 2 are about even, slight edge to IU IMO, but bench I'd give to IU more comfortably.namod65;1133888 wrote:I went around to different draft sites two days ago and Thomas wasn't projected to be drafted in any of the mock drafts. Id have to think about others, but yeah osu front court is top 5 for sure. Probably higher. -
namod65
Give me a link projecting Thomas getting drafted. Like I said in my post, no site has him getting drafted this year, let alone the first round. Here are the places I looked:Laley23;1133935 wrote:He goes, and he should. He will continue to look I impressive versus bigs with size. If he's not even in the talks of any of these sites, I'd say there is little chance he will get drafted. Some are even updated after his run in the tourney. I remember people did this with Buford after his soph season. Everyone just assumed he would be drafted if he went pro, but no site even had him listed. Yet everyone kept ignoring that. -

I could see Watford leaving....his stock has to be on the rise. I am not as impressed with Zellar as most are.Laley23;1133938 wrote:Indiana for 1, if Zeller and Watford come back. Top 2 are about even, slight edge to IU IMO, but bench I'd give to IU more comfortably.

Early CuylerWhy would he stay? Is his draft stock going to get better? Oh wait, that's a rhetorical question (NO), so yeah, for his sake he should probably bolt.
-
Y-Town Steelhound
It won't get any/much better but it won't get any/much worse either. Teams know what they're getting out of Sullinger: A very skilled offensive player who rebounds and shoots well but is a bit undersized and not incredibly athletic. He's gonna go in the lottery no matter and isn't ever going to be an NBA superstar, and his family's financial situation seems to be stable.Early Cuyler;1133993 wrote:Why would he stay? Why not come back and probably get another All-America selection, potentially be player of the year, and potentially win a national championship? I compared Sully's game to Hansbrough...sure as hell looks like he made the right decision by coming back. -
mallymal614I believe it was his father who said last year that Jared won't leave until OSU wins a national championship. But I can understand if that changes based on draft stock and other things. There really isn't tremendous upside in his game. Coming back could only teams figure him out even more. But then again, I wouldn't be surprised if Sully want to face on the challenge of bringing home a title. And if he comes back, along with Thomas........watch out!
