Notre Dame 2012

Why does it matter? The kid is headed to Notre Dame. None of us know for sure what went on. A few OSU fans even wished him well and said it was a good get for ND afterward. What's the problem?

OSU writer: "Yeah I know!" OSU fans: "Who would want to play in South Bend if you're from Florida?!? At least OSU is in the premier urban setting in the midwest..."

    Where did he say that?

Notre Dame is going to win the world championship this year, book it.
  • Ender Gibby
Notre Dame should be unstoppable this year. Best coach in the nations, if you ask me.

Notre Dame is good, but I'm going with Alabama.

Public Intoxication problems must run in the Rees family.

Rees should be gone. Battery of a police officer? Felony. GTFOH. Calabrese should be disciplined and have work to do to come back but at least he didn't attack law enforcement.

Goodbye, Tommy Rees. It's safe to say that you're better at hitting cops than wide open receivers.

I'd be shocked if Rees was gone. I'd be shocked if he were even suspended. Though if he isn't the starter, he might do it to make and example, but even then it'd be a small sentence.

Being run down by cops? I guess Rees really doesn't have any speed :p
  • sherm03
I think we got our wish...Rees won't see the field again this year.

A police spokesman said Rees wasn't overly violent but it was enough to be called assault. Who knows.

If he gets charged with a felony I don't think he will still be enrolled in the university.

Well played. Reps when I can.
  • Laley23
Best news of the day. Rees wont be playing, so I call that a victory.

Calabrese's BAC was .12 and Rees' was .11. Carlo is 21 years old while Rees is 19. It's being reported that Rees kneed an officer in the stomach while trying to get away. Calabrese allegedly said,"My people will get you" while attempting to intervene and come to Rees' aid.

Well well. Looks like Tommy Re-Re will be counting to potato from a jail cell instead of being distracted by the shape of clouds on game day. Best news I heard all week.

Kelly's negligence has now cost one kid his life, and caused one officer of the law to be assaulted. In exchange for what, 8 win seasons? Never thought the standards would drop so low at one of the country's most storied programs.

Eh, thats ok. Going into Kelly's 3rd year he's still well behind the 20 some players Tressel either had arrested or disciplined from 2001-2005 and some of you people rave about those years so we're on the right track I suppose.

How many kids died due to negligence by Tressel?

Tressel had a national title by his 2nd year. Kelly has a loss in the Champs sports bowl.
