karen lotzHendrix looked ok though.

But you can just tell that golston has the special ability about him. But Hendrix has looked good too -
karen lotzAtkinson is running pretty well
-
karen lotzSolid drive from Hendrix, but man Golson is smooth.
-
killer_ewokGolson displaying some of his freak moves.
-
Crimson streakGolston looks way better than any of the qb's. He's going to be a hell of a player
-
killer_ewokGAIII with a highlight reel run. Bounced back well from fumble.
-
killer_ewokGolson looks sharp.
-
killer_ewokGreat throw and catch there.
-
killer_ewokI think I'm getting my Atkinson's mixed up. LOL
-
karen lotzNo you are right. George is rb, josh is cb.
-
karen lotzI'd prefer Kiel to hang out with Golson more, less with Tommy.
-
karen lotz4* OL John Montelus out of MA committed today. Should close out lineman recruiting.
-
sjmvsfscs08Golson. Not Golston.
He looked the best, by far.
The offense had six turnovers.....not good.
ND's OL, DL, and LB corps are fucking nice. -
killer_ewokThe only downside IMO to starting Golson is that you're going to have to live with "Freshman mistakes" again due to lack of game experience. That being said, it's not like Hendrix is a seasoned vet, Rees still makes mistakes like a first-timer and Kiel is very green. There are just certain plays that Golson can make with his mobility that make him worth starting as that will make up for some of the lack of experience. Hendrix is mobile too and didn't do bad yesterday or last season for the most part. But I just think Golson has "it."
I expect to see all 4 QB's getting some PT at various times throughout the regular season. Not sure how much of a rotation there will be though as Golson and Hendrix bring similar abilities to the table and I expect them to be 1st and 2nd string. I don't want to see Rees in there at any point to be honest and can only see Gunner playing in mop-up duty. Really liked Golson's game and would be willing to take some lumps now with him as starter (it would be that way with any of them this year anyways) and see where he could lead this team in the following few seasons with that experience under his belt. -

Great post. I agree on everything. He will make mistakes but he will also make that big play that none of the other qb's can. -

I'm actually really surprised about his verbal to Nebraska. From everything I heard, he was really pumped about Michigan State. But Bo has the Mooney connection, and said that Courtney would be starting as a freshman...so I'm sure that helped sway his decision.dat dude;1149261 wrote:Love isn't going to Cbus for the spring game this weekend. Not sure whether he lost favor with the staff or fell in love with Lincoln. Either way, I'm here to eat my crow.
Still holding out hope that ND can snag him away before signing day, though. -
killer_ewokIt's official. Aaron Lynch is a USF Bull.

karen lotzJustin Tuck is a horrible recruiter
-
karen lotzTE Mike Heuerman committed to Notre Dame today.
-
Midstate01Had a feeling after that long visit to nd that he was going to choose them. I'm curious if osu wants McNeil more or if they only want one TE.
-
karen lotzYeah I wasn't sure how the Lynch situation was going to impact him considering they are good friends, but him taking that visit and hanging out with players other than Lynch was a pretty good sign.
