Not sure why Boeheim still has a job. They are #1 in the polls now, maybe thats why. Defamation is very hard to prove but Boeheim did call them liars (several times) who were looking for money on National TV.
Boeheim did say what he said, no question. But does that warrant being fired? I don't think so. I can't believe that Boeheim knew what was going on with Fine. I don't compare what is going on at 'Cuse with what happened at PSU. Different circumstances. I have been around long enough, seen enough in my life to know that not everyone knows what goes on with those around them, even their closest friends and often times, even within their own families. People rarely know what goes on behind closed doors.
What Boeheim said, was certainly not good. At the time he said it, he was sticking up for a friend who he "thought" he knew. I believe he found out as the weeks went on, that he didnt' really know his friend. It happens to the best of us. I'd be shocked if he knew more. If he did, I would find it hard to believe Fine would have still been on his staff.
    Just my two cents.

    Totally agree.

Story update and a few things....

    1. Mark Schwarz fucked up.

    2. Thomaselli claims he was "coached" by Bobby Davis to make his false allegation sound legit.

    3. His reason for lying about Fine....a deep dislike for Syracuse because they beat his Kansas Jayhawks in the 2003 National Championship game. LOL

Prospective K-State student Zach Tomaselli, 23, is now among those accusing Fine of abuse. Tomaselli, who grew up in Salina, plans to attend K-State beginning in the fall of 2012.........Tomaselli grew up a fan of K-State
    Hmm?

Here's the exact quote from my link....

"On Wednesday, Tomaselli was sentenced to 39 months in a state prison in Maine for sexually abusing a 13-year-old boy three years ago. In his email interview with CNY Central News, Tomaselli says he is a sociopath who has "never met Bernie Fine." He also says he was motivated by what CNY Central News calls "a deep dislike for the Syracuse Orange because they beat his favorite Kansas Jayhawks in the 2003 championship game.""

Where did you read that about him liking K-State? I wonder why there are conflicting reports about who is a fan of? If he is a K-State fan, he was probably extra pissed after they lost to the Orange in the NCAA's this year.

Haha yeah I knew I had heard he was a K State fan, so seeing that quote about the 03 title game was weird to me.
