Notre Dame needs to rebound after a bad performance against SC.

Thread was already made for this game last night. Do we really need two of them?
  • karen lotz
    Nope. Fuck -the other thread-

Also, if you weren't watching ND/USC last night, how were you sure the correct calls were made on the personal fouls?

Exactly. I just said that on the other thread. He's full of shit.

    Anyways.....

The run defense better find itself quickly and Diaco better have them defending the option better than in last year's loss to the Midshipmen.

Taking care of the ball is once again a chore for the Irish. I did like the Special Teams effort vs. SC. Other than that....piss poor effort/execution. Kelly better get this offense going again.

    Hellooooo, Champs Sports Bowl.

Ben Turk looked like he finally learned how to punt the ball in front of a crowd last night. Atkinson was awesome again and KO coverage was great. I think the defense only forced 2 punts which is really sad. I'd have to say special teams was the best unit last night.

By far. Special Teams play was really good last night.

I haven't watched Navy play at all outside of a little bit of the Air Force game. I did see that East Carolina's QB was 26/26 passing in the first half. HOPEFULLY Rees and co are able to exploit the secondary, but ND needs to get back to running the ball. They abandoned that way too early last night.

    Yeah they did.

Navy always worries me. I'm guessing they will play just a little better than they did yesterday vs. ECU.

There are these things called "commercials" that I prefer not to watch, so I did take a couple minutes here and there where I had no other football options...

ALL of the games with ranked teams were at commercial at the same time?

Well lucky for you those couple minutes matched up perfectly with those calls!

Teich(sp?) was the Back that killed us last year. Didn't he get kicked off the team recently?
  • sherm03
    1. Run the ball
    2. Utilize the PA pass and FEED THE BALL TO EIFERT
    3. Take a few deep shots with Floyd
    4. Defend the option WAAAAAAYYYYYYY better than against Air Force

If they can do those things, they should beat Navy by 14.

hmmm I didn't see that. Maybe Con Alma can fill us in?

Teich was suspended for 1 game after the Air Force game for "incidents involving his leadership role on the team."

He played against ECU and had about 50 yards rushing and a TD.

    Okay. Thanks. I was wondering.

ND should blow them out because they have an awesome defense. So awesome, in fact, that they've lost 3 games this year.

If you can't see how great their defense is you clearly haven't seen any ND games this year.
  • Mulva
Navy isn't as bad as their record. 4 losses by 3 points or less.

Not a game Notre Dame should have trouble with though.
  • athlete37
Might not watch. Considering not watching this team until Stanford IF they win out until then. Have been to the last four home games against USC... Counted my record in person against the following teams-- USC, Mich, Michigan State, Georgia Tech, Navy, Air Force, Boston College: 3 and 16... Awful

    smh

13 turnovers in three losses = bad defense?

Oh that's right, you're the cocksucker who doesn't know anything about football.
