John Simon

DeyDurkie5Beast?
-
DeyDurkie5top 5 pick?
-
Fly4FunI hope he stays to hopefully have a good last year at OSU... maybe it depends on who next coach is?
-
gerb131Reminds me of Tim Anderson but this thread should be about BIG Hank Johnathan Hankins. Dude will be a Big Daddy Dan Wilkinson next year.
-
DeyDurkie5Hankins is a beast as well, but simon is pretty much unblockable
-
KR1245Really like to see a front of Simon, Hankins and Williams next year, pretty nasty
-
ytownfootballSimon would seem so much better were Nathan Williams out there which is amazing.
-
imex99Hopefully he stays and our d line will be awesome next year

Considering his backround, I have the feeling he'll be a senior.imex99;935290 wrote:Hopefully he stays and our d line will be awesome next year

sherm03The kid is a special player, and has been since he was at Mooney.
He'll be back for his senior year...and he'll be a beast next year just like this year. -
stroupsDude is as beast and very versatile. At one point yesterday we had what could be 4 defensive tackles on the line Simon, Bellamy, Goebel, and Big Hank.
-
End of LineYes, the dude is a beast.
-
Tobias FünkeHe's a monstrous manimal.
Top five pick? Ehh.. -
PupIf he comes back for his senior year he could very well play his way in to the top 5 but not right now.

ksig489A few thoughts:
1. He should go pro after this year
2. Is he big enough to play DT in the NFL?
3. Even if he isn't big enough, he will be successful in the NFL
4. He is by far the best DL in the NCAA this year, unblockable when he chooses to be -

I doubt you watch enough football to make this judgment.ksig489;935551 wrote:4. He is by far the best DL in the NCAA this year, unblockable when he chooses to be -

Knowing his family and his background, there is about a 0.000000001% chance that he goes pro after this year.ksig489;935551 wrote:A few thoughts:

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I love Simon just as much as the next guy, but to even suggest that he will be a top 5 pick is LUDICROUS! -
queencitybuckeyeHe's extremely improved, but he's been far from unstoppable.

I didn't mean this year as I'm sure he will come back for his senior year and be considered one. You goign to start a thread and call me out on it?Scarlet_Buckeye;936804 wrote:BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I watch plenty of college football and coached Defensive Line at the HS level for 15 years. Technically he is as good as it gets. There also isn't another DL in the country who just flat out makes HUGE plays when his team desperately needs one like he does. If it is a big play, you MUST double team him and assign a back to him as well just in case.Tobias Fünke;935615 wrote:I doubt you watch enough football to make this judgment.
I am a Michigan fan and all we hear about it how great Mike Martin is...I love Martin, but would trade him for Simon at the drop of a hat. He would be starting on quite a few NFL teams right now. It may just be at DE though, -

Yep. I will when Simon is drafted much later after the 10th pick.DeyDurkie5;936811 wrote:I didn't mean this year as I'm sure he will come back for his senior year and be considered one. You goign to start a thread and call me out on it?
