Two unbeatens left...Syracuse and Murray State.

One is a traditional powerhouse, and the other is Syracuse

Syracuse won't even make the sweet 16. They are winning a conference that is historically the most overrated in sports. When your conference contains 26 teams, and you get 15 of those team in the tournament, you're probably going to have a champion more often that a team that only gets 5-6. I haven't figured out the statistics, but of the major conferences I bet the Big East has the worst champion to teams in the tournament ratio in world history.

Didn't Uconn win the national championship last year after a 9th place regular season finish in the Big East?

Didn't the Big East have like 95% of their teams in the tournament?

If you are under the assumption that parity has reached college basketball, and you have any knowledge of probability, you would know that every team has a chance to win the title if they make the tournament. The fact that the Big East gets about 15 teams in the tournament each year, it was bound to happen where a team would get hot and win 6 in a row.

Like I said, the Big East, without a doubt, has the worst championship to tourny teams of all time. They are fraud.

The intentional exaggeration(s) has/have been noted. 69% of the teams in the conference (a 16 team conference, not 25, LOL) made the NCAA tournament last year. 15 every year? More like a record 11 made it last season but point taken. Does the Big East have more teams in the conference and typically get more teams in the NCAA's? Yes. So obviously, they have a better chance at producing the winner. And of course the Big East probably has the worst tourney team-to-champion ratio. They usually have the most teams in and only one team in the country/conference can win it all and no one conference produces the national champ every year.

Dude, why are you even arguing with him? About college basketball no-less?

You just don't like what the metric says about your conference. Enjoy!

Cincinnati is up 9 @ UConn at the half. Andre Drummond a no-show so far.

Murray State is down 3 late in the 1st half against Morehead State.

Bearcats up 42-33. Jacquon Parker and Sean Kilpatrick have been tearing it up for the 'Cats thus far. UC 7 for 14 from the three point stripe.

I know Cincy is playing well, but what the hell is wrong with UConn? They look like hell with the same exact team minus Kemba.
  • wildcats20
    Damn!

    Back to back great shots.
  • chicago510
Holy shit, raining 3 in Storrs. Cincy let UConn back from down 9 but just answered with a 3
  • SportsAndLady
    Wow what an ending

Cincy blows a huge lead with a min and half left, then hits a 3 w/ 2.5 left
  • chicago510
Great win for Cincy. I'll be at the Syracuse game. Hope they play this well next week.

Seton Hall about to lose to Villanova. Bad loss.
Indiana loses to Nebraska. Bad loss.
Murray State about to hang on against Morehead.

"Killa" Sean Kilpatrick has ice running through his veins.

UC now has beaten UCONN, Villanova, Georgetown, Notre Dame, Pitt and Oklahoma after the Xavier debacle. UC goes to Morgantown to play WVU this weekend and then have Syracuse at home next Monday.

They have depth issues this year, especially at guard where Walker played. Ist doesn't help with Boatwright sitting due to an NCAA investigation.

By the way, UCONN"s freshman center Andre Drummond is a freaking man-child. Physcially he reminds me of Greg Oden, but the scary part is I think he moves a letter better.

That 'Cuse-Cincy game on Monday night should be a good one. Looking forward to it.

Depth issues..ha! Kansas had 2 impact freshman ruled ineligible for the entire season and they're a top 10 team.

Yancy Gates under the radar with a huge game. He did it all tonight.
